She Has Changed

Chapter 4

(continued from chapter 4 preview)....

"She didn't wake up..." Cream said almost crying.

"What do you mean?!"

"When I called her this morning she didn't answer...I tried again and no response....so I got worried and came to her house and found her lying in the bed not breathing or anything!!" Cream broke out crying and fell to her knees. I tried comforting her but couldn't help myself from crying also.

I got up and walked over to her bed and looked at Amy's lifeless body. Now that did it. I grabbed her hand and squeezed it as tight as I could, not wanting to believe this.

"Amy...I never got to tell you....I....I...I lo-"

"Sonic!! Wake up!!!"

Sonic jolted out of sleep and sat up to be face to face with Tails who had a worried look on his face. "Are you okay?!...I heard crying and whimpering!"

Sonic was relived that it was just a dream. "Yeah just a nightmare..."

"Okay....well I made Breakfast for us...how does pancakes sound?"

Sonic was so hungry! "Of course! I love pancakes!!"

They walked into the kitchen and sat down together eating pancakes.

"So what was the nightmare about?" Tails asked.

"Oh...nothing..."

"Oh just tell me!"

"Okay...it was about Amy dieing..." Sonic thought about the dream and the pictures of Amy's lifeless body and shuddered.

"Oh...I think I know WHY you had this dream...its because you are afraid of leaving her again...just admit it you like her!" Tails chuckled.

"I do not..." Sonic defended.

'do I...?'

"Oh come on Sonic...I know things when I see them and this one I see clearly...you like her."

Sonic couldn't say anything. 'He might be right. But I can't be sure of it yet. Like I said, he can be an idiot sometimes.' Sonic got up to put his plate in the sink. "Thanks Lil bro for letting me stay...I think I am going to go for a run..."

"No problem Sonic! See ya later!" with that being said, Sonic took off with a loud boom and ran out of the city and into the field where he could think...

~~~~~meanwhile~~~~~

Amy woke from her sleep and headed downstairs for some breakfast. It was the usual eggs and bacon. She poured a glass of orange juice and sat down to eat.

(Amy's POV)

'Yesterday was so much fun. But also something was different. Sonic blushed! Was it because of me?...probably not...but still he looked so dazed like he was lost in my eyes or something...'

I was interrupted by my alarm watch that I got from Topaz. It beeped a red indicating that she wanted to talk to me about something. I sighed and ate the last bit of my eggs and proceeded to answer the call. Topaz's face was on the little screen.

"This is detective Rose here, what do you need Topaz?"

"There has been a gang reported in the middle of central park. They are the ones that stole those gems from the jewelry store."

"Where are they?"

"That is what we need you to find out...they were last seen on Hopewell street and we tried to get them but they were too fast for us to get so we want you to take them down for us. As seeing you are the most trained and fastest of the squad."

"Okay im on it!"

"Goodluck Rose." she stated before the transmition cut off and it was silent once again.

I shut off the watch and ate the last of my bacon and got dressed in my regular outfit, Blue shirt with a red heart in the middle that exposed my belly and one shoulder and black shorts. I got on my red speed shoes on and headed off to Hopewell street. Once I got there the whole street was deserted so I checked the next one and no one was there except some kids on a swing set. I finally arrived in an alley that seemed suspicious...it was at the end of the city. I walked in the alley and heard a laugh up ahead. I quickened my pace and peeked around the corner.

"These are the most beautiful gems I have ever seen!!" the female said. She was tall and had a nice figure...she had grey ripped jeans and a simple white T-shirt.

"You got that right!" two other females said. All the sudden 5 males came from the corner with a bag full of something...most likely more jewels.

"Come on guys! lets get out of here there are police on our tails!!" One male said.

I stepped out of the corner "I don't think you will be going anywhere!"

They all looked at me then laughed. "You can't stop us!"

"Watch me!"

yayayay!! another chapter!! and the next one will be full of action!!! yay!! that will be the first one when I will have butt kicking and stuff...I am not used to writing that kind of stuff hahah!! XD I also noticed that I havent put any dawn up in my story besides one chapter...or any onther characters besides Cream sonic amy and tails!!! so I hope to fit them in in the next chapter!! thank you for supporting me!! :D Anyways keep reading for more 'She has changed'!!!
