She Has Changed

Chapter 12

(The next morning)

Amy has been up all night scared to have a nightmare again, she was also too bugged up about sonic.

She didn't look her best, she was a paler and duller pink than normal. Her average cheerful jade green eyes were replaced with lifeless green daggers. They no longer had the tint of happiness in them.

Also her friends were so worried about her that they didn't get any sleep either, especially cream.

Everyone of Amy's friends were there at the hospital to visit her. Knuckles and shadow were filled with rage when they found out. Once they heard about it they wanted to cut their heads off. luckily dawn calmed them both down enough.

Rouge took it the same way as cream and wanted to visit her right away but was stopped by the nurses out side her door.

Blaze and silver both seemed depressed and hadn't spoken, they were too shocked to do much.

They were all there though, waiting.Tails was comforting cream since she was crying. Blaze and silver next to them starring down at the floor. Shadow was pacing back and forth with Dawn starring at him with a concerned look on her face. Rouge was tapping her foot, getting annoyed. Knuckles was sitting next to her in complete rage.

And lastly sonic, wait where is sonic?

Cream was the first to notice this, "hey guys where is sonic?"

Everyone looked at her blankly with raised eye brows. Some shook their heads. Tails looked her in the eyes, "he didn't come home last night, it seems this incident has affected him the most."

Shadow huffed, "hmph....I knew the faker had feelings for Rose.."

They all nodded in agree ment but tails spoke again, "I hope nothing bad happened to him...."

Knuckles chuckled (I DON'T CARE WHAT HIS THEME SONG SAYS! I WANT HIM TO CHUCKLE!!!), "he is sonic, nothing bad happens to him..."

"I hope you are right knuckles.." there was silence once again as they waited. Then a doctor came into the room.

"Oh you guys must be here to see Miss Rose," he recieved nods from eveyone "Amelia Rose doesn't want any visitors today...I am sorry..." he explained.

"what?" cream gasped.

"I am sorry but she specifically told me that she wanted no visitors." the group sighed

"let's go guys...I need to get my head focused on something else.." rouge announced while walking out the hospital. The group nodded and followed after her.

We find sonic sitting in the park with his head in his hands, he hadn't slept that night. He was too stressed. To depressed to even think about 'her'.

"Amy..." he softly said. every time he said her name it made him more depressed than before.

She meant everything to him, and she broke his heart. But little did he know that she loved him more than anything and wished that she had actually said something to him.

Sonic gave up as he rose from where he was sitting and headed for tails' house. He sprinted as the wind blew through his quills, hitting his face as he ran. He arrived at the doorstep and knocked on the door. It swung open to see an orange kitsune.

"hey sonic, where were you?! I was worried as heck!" tails yelled.

"I was...'out'." sonic walked inside, "I am beat..I am going to bed tails."

Tails stopped him, "you still have to tell me about what happened."

Sonic looked at his best friend in the eyes, he had to know. "well tails...lately I have well developed feelings for Amy, and when I went to visit her, I told her that I fell in love with her. She didn't share the same feelings and that's why I have not been myself lately..."

Tails was surprised, "I am sorry sonic.."

"no you shouldn't be..." sonic sighed, "now I am going to go to bed...."

Tails nodded and let him pass. Sonic opened the door and collapsed on the bed. He sighed and drifted to sleep

(four days later)

Amy has still had nightmare everynight. She was terrified of them. Her bruises went away but the scar on her left cheek was still present. She still is a little uncomfortable with people still.

Then,  before she knew it, it was the day that she would be let out of the lifeless hospital.

She checked out of the hospital and there was one thing that came to mind, "I need to tell sonic the truth..." with that being said she ran as fast as her legs could carry her to tails' house. Unfortunately for her she doesn't have her speed shoes on so she couldn't run fast. 20 minuets later she arrived at tails' house. She was completely out of breath but I was worth it.

(Amy's POV)

I banged on the door praying that someone would open it. I heard a faint, "coming!" from inside. Then the door creaked open to reveal tails. He was surprised to see me but then spoke, "hey Amy, what are you doing here?"

"I am here to see sonic, is he here?!" I answered rather quickly.

"no he is out on a run, are you okay Amy? you are really pale." tails asked

"damn...oh no I am fine..I'll see you late tails! Bye!" I then sprinted off before he could say anything else. I have to find sonic as soon as possible!

I then spotted a blue blur coming at me fast, "SONIC!!!" I screamed. I was so relieved to see him. It made all my fears go away when I saw him skid to a stop in front of me.

"Amy?" he looked at me confused, "what happened? Something wrong?"

I shook my head, "I am sorry I don't know why I didn't tell you right away but-.." then right there I was about to tell him. All these years I have waited for us to be together. I can feel the warmth of his body from where I was standing. And we were a foot apart. The wind was blowing on my cheeks and making the hair move in front of my face. You'd think in the middle of summer it would be warmer. I moved a bit closer to feel his warmth.

"but?" he stared at me with those emerald pools of green. That was my favorite feature of him, his mesmerizing eyes.

"but.." This is it. Normally I hate cheesy moments like this in movies but right now I want this moment to last. I want this to be a happy and cheesy ending, "I love you too."

He stared at me for a while bewildered but then smirked, "I knew it." that moment he put his arm on my waist and pulled me close to him. The warmth of him made me ten times more happy. Then he pulled me closer and the next thing I knew our lips met.

All my dreams came true in that second, having my first kiss with sonic. I have never felt so relieved and happy in my whole life! I would have fallen if it weren't for sonic's hand supporting me. He deepened the kiss as little fireworks sparked in my head.

Our lips parted and our breaths were ragged. I looked into his eyes.

"finally..." we both whispered at the same time.

I don't know weather to cry, leap for joy or both!!! Amy and sonic are together!!!

Ps as you predicted, she has changed is coming to an end...yeah I know...I might do a sequel...if you guys want one..
