A GIRL IN MY DREAMS

CHAPTER - 2

Well, it was a rough Friday. The worst thing was I had to study, I could have gone for football training, but exams were lined up. All those integral formulae and it's sums had demented me. Out of 100 problems I solved, only 2 or maybe 3 would have been correct. Despite of being nonchalant in studies, I still liked Chemistry. I think it gives some kind of relation between nature and our life!! Saturdays had weekend tests so we had to cram up all Friday nights for studies!!

I used to go for evening walks as they refreshed my mind a lot. Well I had whole night to study, so these energy boosters were required. It was 8:30 PM. I was like 5 blocks away from my society, listening to ' See You Again ' by Charlie Puth and got a call from Ananya . Well she used to call like once in million times. I didn't know why. I was lucky today :)

' Hello ', I said.

' Yash...Hi '.

' So prepared topper?? ', I asked.

' Hell No!! I haven't even touched the book '. I used to like the way she used to say HELL NO.

' Hmm.. same here girl '.

' Okay leave that. I am stressed today. Lets talk something interesting ', she said.

' Interesting ?? Like what ? '.

' Interesting like your girlfriend. Now don't tell me you don't have any. I know what those poems mean ', she said.

' No Anu!! and what poems ?? '.

' Poems our teacher read in front of whole class ', she laughed.

' Fine!! Yeah I have one, but you will never know not in a million years ', I said. What else I could say.

' Tell me ranger, common '.

' Okay you find, a challenge from me. Lets see if you can accomplish it '.

' I know you wont tell me. I will find one day. Okay, what else ?? ', she said.

' You say, you have called '.

' Okay tell me what you wanted to tell, that day and past 5 weeks ?? '.

' I'm sorry Anu, I can't my mother is calling me. Bye ', I said.

' Why this shit happens to me !! Anyways bye Yash.... ', she exclaimed.

' Bye ', I said and hanged up the call.

Well I couldn't talk about this girlfriend things with Ananya, as she would have never known what was there in my mind.

AT HOME

Dinner was over. Everyone slept except me. 45 pages were remaining to read. I kept my head down and started wondering about Ananya. I wanted to write a poem for her. I thought maybe my mood will get better by writing some poetries. So, I lied on the bed with 0.5 lead pencil in my hand, and wondered.

I heard my mom calling. ' Wake up Yash !! '.

OH MY GOD!! I just slept and I didn't knew, how did it happened. It was morning 6 AM!!! This was worst thing that had ever happened to me. I didn't have time for brushing my teeth, or to take a bath. I got out of my bed, stumbled on the chair. I fell on my elbow. It hurted so bad. I took my book, and started reading. Oh and my sister came running, and saw me studying.

She shouted," Grandma, Yash bhaiya isn't taking bath ".

bhaiya is hindi word meaning ' Brother '.
