Previously on The Teachers Pet...

Well that was unexpected. I walk to my bedroom in a daze. I pull off my clothes and drop them to my floor. Just leaving on my bra and underwear.

I lay down onto my bed and pulled the comforter over my half naked body. Slowly drift off into a deep sleep with the image of Tyler in my head.

That weekend..

Its Saturday afternoon. My eyes slowly open and I lazily check my clock, 1:43pm.

"Well shit." I say to myself and roll over onto my back, closing my eyes.

I was going out with a couple friends from my old school. I used to be a cosmetologist. Thats what i was planning to be for the rest of my life. But then I quickly realized I cant make a living like that. I cant afford to.

I always visioned myself like the girls from that tv show Jerseylicious. All sassy and goodlooking with a hot man and a lot of money.

But its not like that in the real world..

I hear my phone buzz and I grab it and open the text without thinking.

From: Yasmine

Aye girl! Are you ready for tonight?! Its been ages fr fr.

I laugh to myself hearing her obnoxiously loud voice play in my head.

Me, Yasmine, Shauun, and Naomi became friends instantly in Cosmetology School.

I haven't seen them since i graduated the begining of last year. Except Yasmine. She lives a couple minutes away from me.

Tonight we all were going to meet up at the best Gay Bar in town, Mad Mernas.

Hell yeah! Its just going to be us thoo right? I dont want Shaun to bring his asshole boyfriend..😒

I reply and think about life back in college. I missed all my friends. But Yasmine, Shaun, and Naomi are the only ones I still keep in contact with.

My phone buzzes again.

From: Yasmine

Yup! Just us. Shauns only staying in town for the night, but Naomi will be here for dinner sunday.

We had the entire weekend planned out. It irritated me a little that Shaun couldnt stay the whole visit. But he needed to take care of his mom. And his asshole boyfriend.

I frowned my eyebrows at the thought of his boyfriend. I remeber the day I found out how terrible he was. Shaun had bruises everywhere. It made me feel terrible on the inside.

Awe. That sucks. At least Naomi is staying. But thank god that d.ick isnt coming.

I told her that I would see her tonight and we will meet at 8. She was going to pick up Naomi and I was going to run to get Shaun. Then meet at the club.

I roll out of bed and walk to my window, opening my curtains. The sun beams into my room and makes everything visible.

I grab a white flannel and button it up over my half naked body. It stops midthigh and you can see my black bra underneath.

I walk though my apartment opening up all the curtains. Letting the sun light up the walls. Opening a couple windows.

I walk into the kitchen and throw my hair up into a messy bun. Small chunks of hair hanging around my head.
