30. Do I Call It Chaos?

I better take a advil when I get there, this day has been a big headache. And now I have a third suspect.

Three weeks later..

My life has been a mess recently. Detective Muggs has Police surveillance close by at all times, I am still getting strange things and notes. The most recent I got was a butchers knife and a note that said

Dont Underestimate Us Rebecca.
Here.. For youre own protection.

Of course Detective Muggs took the knife in as evidence, and he just adds more and more surveillance. Soon enough Im going to have a police officer in my livingroom at all time.

I talked to Tyler. We came to good terms, but we are sure nothing will ever become of us. He said we can still be friends but of course that rarely happens.

I havent seen Yasmime since the funeral, Its like she vanished off the face of the earth. Her mother says she had to go away because the death of her bestfriend was so devastating she needed professional help. Which doesnt really make sence to me because that doesnt sound like her.

Daniel has been here for me, everyday almost. I couldnt thank him enough, and we have become extremely close. He was truly the reason I was remotely happy.

The funeral was filled with all the worst kind of emotions. It was open casket, so I saw his face. The face of my bestfriend. It didnt look like him, well it did. But it was missing that Pop, that smile, the emotion.

I got that project done for Mr. Terrez. It helped take my mind off of the daily life struggles. He said it was fantastic and he wanted me to do more for his students. Of course, I said yes.Other then all that Ive just been sitting at home. Taking in how royally fucked my life is. Detective Muggs said as soon as they find the person that was recording and arrest Derrick they will be able to take this to state court.

Naomi has already been taken into custody. But apparently she wont tell who else was there. She has actually gone a little bonkers after all this. Muggs is saying she could plead insanity if she wanted because she is showing it. Which is sucky because that means she wont get such harsh punishment. But come on, being in a psych ward doesnt sound too fun.

Nothing has come of Derrek yet. He still drops in notes somehow, someway. But nobody seems to see him. We just know he is still here, still close.

I was recommended going to counciling by some people, but I dint want to just tell my problems to someone that will just write them down.

I wish things could just be normal but in my terribly hectic situation, thats a no. I literally have nobody except Daniel. My social life seriously depended on him. I am such a mess, my like is chaotic. Im surprised he is still around, but I am forever greatful.

Sorry its been so long, my life has been super busy. But..!
