Third Person's POV

Luke never did move on. Every night he would cry himself to sleep. He did try to end his life, but Calum caught him and got him to stop. Luke felt empty. He felt like life didn't have a meaning.

Right now he was staring at the blade on his desk. Calum thought he'd gotten rid of them all, but Luke is an excellent hider.

Luke couldn't handle not being with Madelyn any more. The police found her body on the side of the road, bruised and bloody. That was the second hardest Luke ever cried. The first was when he found out Madelyn was dead.

Luke slowly reached towards the blade before pulling back.

No. If I'm going to do this I need to do it the right way.

He thought to himself.

He stood up, and didn't bother getting a jacket. It was cold, but the walk wasn't long. Luke exited his house and walked down the sidewalk to the river. The same river Maddy died in.

He stood on the edge of the bridge, contemplating life.

This is it.

He thought.

"I'm going to finally be with you, Mads. Forever."

He jumped.
