I woke up at 11:20 next morning. I stayed up all night watching movies on my computer and honestly I regret it, I've never woken that late before. I opened the windows to my room, the sunlight sting my skin. Damn I've grown up...I looked around my room and saw the pink and purple wallpaper peeling off the corners of my wall. I've had it like that since 6th grade and now I was preparing for my junior year.

"Hey mom.." I said as I sat on the dining table next to JJ, zico's younger brother. He was two years younger than me and was going to be a sophomore. Did I mention he was my 'best friend'.

"Hey best friend." JJ kissed me on the cheek. I giggled. Zico came in the kitchen and sat in front of us. "Hey." He said to me. I looked up at him and smiled. He smiled back.

"GOOD MORNING!" Yelled my mom as soon as she saw Zico. " how did you sleep son in law?" I blushed furiously as she said that. "MOM!" I yelled. She looked away with a smile. Zico laughed unstop. Why does she embarrass me like this. Zico was just staying here for 3 months and she already wants him to marry me. I wouldn't mind but it was still embarrassing.

"im so happy its finally you're last year in school." JJ said to Zico. "I can't wait for you to leave this house and go to collage so only me and Hana could be here." He said smiling at me. I ignored him. I wish I had known Zico and JJ the previous years in high school since they were popular and stuff, maybe people would have gone easier on me.

I spent half the day sitting outside in my porch waiting for U-kwon to at least look over here and see how I've change. He never did look. His mom did tho. She was walking her pug when she saw me.

"Hana!" She said waving at me. I smiled at her and said hi. My mom and his mom were best friends but even at that circumstance he never came over or said hi.

"Oh my goodness! Look at you how gorgeous!"she said. "You sure lost a lot of weight!" I blushed. "Thank you mrs.kim."I smiled. " how's your son?" I asked because I really wanted to know. She wrinkled her nose. " ohhh don't even get me started on yukwon.( ukwon real name.) He's been hanging out with some girl that I don't even like...I think she just takes advantage of him!" I nodded. "Oh I see..." I knew she was talking about Minah.

" enough talking about me..." She changed the subject. "Hows your mother? I haven't seen Eunche in a while!" After I told her everything from her cholesterol being fine to the fact that we now rented rooms and stuff like so she finally said something about Ukwon.

" oh I have to go prepare dinner it's gonna be late...yukwon is probably starving now." I laughed.

" say hi to mr. Kim for me." I said. Then her expression changed into a frown and she looked dazed off. " oh right... I will...." Then she left. Maybe she was in a fight with him or something.

I laid on the grass for 3 hours. Just staring at the sky. Then a tall 18 year old sat next to me. "Zico...." I said. " don't you ever feel like you want Something but you don't know what it is?" He nodded. " yeah but most of the time I know what i want." I punched him in the arm playfully. There were two months left of summer. Pretty soon Zico would move out with JJ and I would be alone again, but at least I'll see them in school.

" I don't want summer to end." He said. " it's a nice feeling when you know you can do anything you want tomorrow...that you could be free.." I laughed. " what's wrong?" He asked. I laughed even harder. I sat up and he followed. " did you get that quote from the constitution or Our history book?!" I laughed. " no!" He yelled. " oh I'm sorry then...I was probably wrong.." He nodded. " you probably got it from Your history report !" I threw grass at his face and then he did the same. Then he started tickling me. I yelled stop when I saw a very familiar figure pass by. UKWON!!!!! He glanced at me for about 4 seconds and looked away. Maybe he saw me with Zico!

"What's wrong?" Zico asked.. " did something happened?" I shook my head. Will Ukwon ever notice me?
