"You're gonna wanna see this..." Emmett's distant voice caused Alessia and Rosalie's attention, both girls standing from there spot near the trees and dashing towards the house where the faint murmur of a tv was heard.

Rosalie sat in Emmett's lap, the boys arms automatically opening for the blonde as she grew comfortable and intrigued by the tv. The strawberry blonde conveniently detached her gaze from the site as anything resembling love left a sickness in the pit of her stomach lately.

Briefly, Alessia looked at her brother and his mate who had just arrived, the human girl's eyes widening when she showed up. Alessia didn't understand her expression until she took in the air surrounding her and realized she'd seen Jacob, his trademark scent practically engulfed her and sent fire to rain across her skin. She then understood Bella's look which in turn caused a crestfallen expression to appear across her face for a brief moment before she was once more going back to numb expression and sitting down beside Jasper. The man with curly blonde hair looked her way, there eyes connecting and a silent conversation briefly passing through them, he was worried and she needed to be as well, without another thought they turned their attention back to the grand flatscreen and listened into the reported.

"Seattle is in a state of terror... Police are baffled by the escalating murders and disappearances. Theories range from a vicious new gang to a wildly active serial killer... Reporting live, Dawn Chubai. CNN."

Alessia brushed her fingers through her hair, moving to shut the tv off as thoughts soon began to revolve her head. This had been yet another of their worries in the last months, it seemed like when things went to hell, everything went with it and now they would have to deal with whatever was happening in Seattle. The humans were baffled, terrified even but the clan of vampires all knew what it was and that terrified them, it couldn't have been a coincidence to have them so near with looming threats also surrounding the small town of theirs but there hadn't been an actual connection made. Jasper and Alessia had been discussing the situation from time to time in the last few weeks, theorizing just what had brought this stir of supernatural creatures all within miles of one another. Alessia stood from her seat, hands clamping around her waist, knowing that this could not go on much longer.

"It's getting worse." She stated the obvious, looking towards Jasper who nodded his head.

Said vampire pursed his lips before looking up towards the other vampires. "We're going to have to do something."

"It takes more than one of our kind to cause the damage they're reporting." Edwin explained to a clearly confused Bella who hadn't been in the Cullen discussions lately.

"Quite a few more, brother." His sister clarified, listing an eyebrow

"They're undisciplined, conspicuous... It's Newborns." Edward counted off, checking every single box that classified this as yet another uncontrollable situation they would need to handle.

"What, like new vampires?" Bella questioned, lifting her head to look up towards her boyfriends.

Carlisle had been standing by the hallways leading towards the kitchen, nodding his head and stepping further into the room. "In their first few months after the change. That's when we're at our most uncontrollable, vicious, insane with thirst."

Emmett chose this moment to look up towards Bella with an amused grin. "Something to look forward to."

He was ignored however as Jasper spoke up, using his expertise on the subject. "No one has trained these newborns, but this isn't random. Someone's creating an army."
