"We should plan a hunting trip soon

"We should plan a hunting trip soon." Alice spoke out to her siblings, her usual cheery voice being such a contradiction to the normally dull days that passed them.

Alessia perked up at this though, lifting her head as auburn and copped colored hair moved with her. A brief smile came to her lips, only lifting for a moment before she inquired, "where too?"

The back of her throat burned, a familiarity that almost felt like a pinch to reality. These days an immortal being ever rarely felt a moment in time stand out but it seemed that thirst was one of the few ties to humanity. Alice was silent for a moment as she pretended to think, not caring that the rest of the family didn't seem to give her attention. She rounded her thoughts to one conclusion however and she happily cheered, "Greenland!"

The rest of the family suddenly seemed very attentive as they all either scowled or lifted a look of confusion.

"You do realize it's Tuesday right? We can't exactly be back in time for school tomorrow morning?" Emmett pointed out.

"Alice, that's ridiculous." Rosalie bluntly stated before flipping her hair and looking away towards the darkening sky above the school.

"I believe something closer would be more appropriate—and swifter." Jasper said as he swallowed tightly and pressed his hand into Alice's.

"Greenland?" Alessia restated as the name pressed against her lips in a heavenly manner and she looked to the one person who could or would agree with her decision. Her twin brother walked beside her, Edward, was far off as well, onyx eyes not even moving a fraction as they closed in on the cafeteria. She pressed her elbow into the dip of his torso, "what do you think? Wouldn't it be relaxing?"

Edward turned his head and looked at her, the steady gaze dropping for a moment as he softened to his younger sisters expression. "It would—but Carlisle would never allow it, we just settled here. Maybe during summer break?"

"I wouldn't mind that, hide out in the mountains. Like the 70's?" Alessia smiles at the memory of her and her siblings with no caution as they explored each crevice of one of their favorite places.

"Rosalie hated it." Alice points out to the twins.

"Rosalie hates everything." Emmett adds on and Rosalie lightly taps her mate on the arm but offers no malice as he looks over and winks at her.

"I liked the night sky." The blonde female admits after reducing her anger to a scowl.

"I liked the solitude." Jasper admits. "And the abundance of animals."

"I suppose that settles it then! Greenland in the summer!" Alessia speaks joyfully and grins at her siblings.

"I think we've lost site of where this discussion began!" Alice cuts in. "Where are we going now? I can't be the only one suffering from a burning throat."
