Gabriel's POV

Rick came over and sat down next to me

"Thanks for the hospitality. I'm surprised you let us drink your communion wine."

"There isn't anyone left to take communion. The wine's just wine until it's blessed"

"You're hiding something and it's pretty obvious it's something you can't hide from. That's your business.
But these people...
These people are my family. And if what you're hiding somehow hurts them in any way.
I'll kill you"

Tom's POV

Carl approached me, I was sitting, slouched against the wall, he leaned against the wall and slid down to sit next me, he looked slightly delirious

"how much of that wine have yo-"

He placed his hand on my left knee. I looked at his hand, he brought his face closer to mine and whispered into my ear

"wait two minutes, then follow me outside"

He dragged himself up and steadily walked to the door, exiting.

What the fuck? What's going to happen? How does he know?

I was frozen in my spot

Shit. Has it been two minutes?

I brought myself to my feet, cautiously watching the room as I walked to see if anyone was watching. I reached the door and stepped outside, closing the door behind me.

My god it's cold

It was almost pitch black, it would be, if it weren't for the light of the moon.

I whispered "Carl? Carl?
Come on man, it's cold out here"

I seen a dim glare of light through the trees

That must be him, the idiot

I started wondering through the trees towards the light
The glare of the light began moving away, quite quickly actually, I began running, the light dissappeared.
I reached a road, there were two dim red lights in the distance, moving away.

A car? What the hell?

I turned around and looked at the road behind me

"Carl's hat?"
