"Are you sure you're going to be able to do this?" Derek asks, peering at me with concern.

"I need to see how much control Venatrix has," I mutter and take a deep breath before walking into the prison.

I slam the door shut behind me and walk down the hall until I see Lily kneeling in front of Shade's cell. Guards line the walls, their guns aimed at Shade.

"Lily, would you please leave for a few minutes? Take the guards with you," I tell Lily, kneeling down in front of the cell.

"Of course Alpha." She nods and leaves, the guards following behind her. I turn to Shade looking at me.

"I need you to do something for me Raven, promise you'll do this for me?" she pleads, looking me in the eyes.

"Depends on what it is," I reply in a cool voice.

"I need you to break me, come on Raven," she pleads, "if it doesn't work, Venatrix is going to kill me anyway."

"Are you sure?" I ask warily, standing up and reaching for the door. I can feel my eyes swirl red as Ira tries to take control.

That's enough! I snarl and she growls angrily but stops.

Shade spits blood onto the floor and shakes her head ever so slightly.

"I'll get Venatrix, but I have one last question, please?" she asks. Her voice is shaky and weak, tugging at my heartstrings. She sounds so vulnerable.

"What?"

"Can . . . can I have a hug? In case I never see you again?" She stares at the floor shamefully. I honestly wasn't expecting her to say that.

I nod and pull open the door. I lean down and wrap my arms around her, rocking slightly. I feel her body tense up suddenly and Ira snarls in my mind.

"Raven, get back," Shade says, her voice nearly a growl. I quickly get up and back away, watching as Venatrix takes over.

She shakes her head, trying to keep Venatrix back, but she isn't strong enough.

"Raven," she snarls and I slam my knee across her face, splitting her lip and dislocating her jaw.

"Alpha Silver to you," I snarl, shocking Venatrix who glares back with her glowing green eyes.

"You won't be able to break me, not without killing Shade," she hisses. I shrug.

"That's a risk I'm going to have to take."

My knee smashes across her face, splitting her lip further. She gives me a bloody grin and I punch her again.

She coughs violently, letting out a groan. She already has several broken ribs, her nose is broken, she has gashes all over her body, and the worst is the bone sticking out of her thigh. Blood covers the floor, slick against my bare feet.

I feel sick doing this, mostly because Ira is enjoying it and I am using it as a way to release all of my pent up frustration and anger.

I snatch my dagger from my thigh sheath and drive it into her shoulder. I twist it sharply, making her cry out. I leave it in her shoulder, allowing the wolfsbane poison to enter her bloodstream.

She gasps for air, shuddering at the pain. I take another blade and drag it across her forehead, making blood drip down her face. Venatrix's normally neon green eyes have faded to a dull green now.

She looks up at me but I just glare. Ira is slightly in control right now, so my anger for Venatrix floods my mind.

"That's enough for today, you've got the rest of the day and tonight to heal as much as you can," I spit and she flinches back, whimpering slightly.

"Y-yes Alpha Silver," she murmurs and I stalk out of the prison.

"Don't shoot her unless she tries to get out, she is really weak though so I doubt she will. If anyone kills her, I will kill them, understood?" I growl to the guards waiting outside. They immediately nod and bow before returning to the prison to watch Shade.

Xavier suddenly walks out of the forest, a rabbit dangling from one hand.

"What are you doing here?" I ask and he lifts up the rabbit.

"I came to give this to Shade, or Venatrix, whoever is present," he says and I growl.

"Why? This doesn't even concern you," I yell, my anger clearly showing.

"Raven! Calm down! It does concern me because you're my mate, and this is my pack too," he growls, a warning look in his eyes.

"I'm sorry, this is just too much to handle. I thought I could handle it, but its too much. Ira is enjoying this and I am screaming inside at having to hurt Shade who is like my sister," I say, feeling myself break down.

"Maybe you should go see Rosa, you've been acting a little off these past few days," he says, peering at me curiously.

"I think I'm going crazy," I mutter in realization. Based on the way I've been acting these past few days, it is the only thing that makes sense. My emotions have been out of control, and Ira has had way more control than she should.

"Go see Rosa, I will deal with Venatrix," he says, kissing my forehead lightly before heading into the prison.

I sigh and make my way over to the hospital. I find Rosa and she gladly runs tests to help me figure out what is wrong with my head.

"Did you figure it out yet?" I ask as she comes back into the room, clipboard in hand.

"Yeah, but I don't think you're going to be happy about it," she sighs.

"I'm crazy aren't I?"

"No, you're not crazy. You're pregnant."

"Excuse me?" I ask, shaking my head to make sure I heard right.

"You heard what I said."

"No I don't think I did. I'm fucking pregnant?" I growl angrily and she shrugs.

"Yeah, that's why your emotions have been so uncontrollable and weird."

"Rosa, I don't want to be pregnant."
