luke hemmings is a dick. i feel bad for all of his adoring fans who think he's some hero when in reality he's just some horny fuckboy. he dedicated the whole night to flirting with me very publicly, constantly sitting next to me and putting his hands on my thigh... normally i would love this sort of behaviour but only from my boyfriend or at least someone i even vaguely knew, not someone i had met 30 minutes prior, it's just creepy and annoying.

iris, obviously, went home with a certain famous drummer (who was actually really nice after he emerged from under my best friend), leaving me at the party to fend for myself. i wouldn't necessarily say i struggle excessively with socialising as i when i'm on set i find it relatively easy to befriend whoever else is working there, being nice and sociable kind of comes with the job. however impressing agents and interviewers and being polite to people i work with is a whole different ball game to having to maintain stable socialising with intimidating celebrities! soon after i came out of the bathroom, our booth was filled with some of the coolest people i have ever met, people i've idolised for my whole life. at one point mark hoppus was at our table because he knows the boys and presented one of the awards tonight for some reason, i almost died right then and there. he's just one name on a seemingly never-ending list of faces that i interacted with. i even lasted the whole night without something completely mortifying happening, which is a first for me. the fact that i was with the boys who played it so cool and knew most of them beforehand helped, but still even i was amazed at how calm and collected i was.

i've only really been in the spotlight for a year now, which was nothing compared to the 20-year-long careers of some people at the party. this was the first award season that i've properly been known at, so i'm really only meeting people for the first time- i'm just lucky everyone has been nicer than the gossip columns make them out to be.

i looked at my phone and it said its 3:37am, i decided i might as all well go back to the hotel so i could catch up on all the 'how to get away with murder' episodes that i'd missed out on watching during the night. i could have fit in at least 3 episodes instead of all this socialising, so i had to up my game if i didn't want to fall behind my brother (we were in a contest to see who can finish first).

thanks to the crazy hours of shoots i have, my sleeping schedule is completely crazy and unreliable so i'm basically constantly tired (not that that would be any different if i didn't have photo shoots).

"well i think i'm gonna head off, it's been amazing meeting you all" i smiled whilst trying to work out where the closest in n' out burger was.

"why you going so early?" michael pouted. i'd got to really like calum and michael over the course of the night and although i obviously didn't actually know either of them at all really, i'd class us as friends.

"yeah, you can come back to our hotel if you want, it's only a couple of minutes away. it will be way more fun than this shit is, i promise" calum looked at me with those big brown eyes and i mentally deliberated the pros and cons of each option. hot boys in their hotel or netflix and burgers in mine.

calum, michael and ashton (while he was here) had been lovely, they were absolutely hilarious and had had me in stitches for most of the night, i'm sure all my make-up was completely ruined from the numerous times we cried of laughter. they made me actually really enjoy the event, which was a mean feat considering the fact that everyone knows how much i hate these things. i was actually considering going until i panned my eyes to who was sitting next to me, luke was sitting there on his phone and that one glance at him was enough reason for me to abandon their plan. wow, i'm such a bitch lol.

"no sorry i can't, i have a busy day tomorrow and i need to catch up on some sleep tonight' i bull-shitted " but another time?" i felt bad but i'll survive.
