*A/N: this chapter is shorter because of how dramatic it needs to be. The next chapter is under construction as we speak. I already have the outline written out so look out for it. I hope you like this update*

Isaac's body shifts against mine, his muscled arms holding my waist. His skin is cool compared to my radiating heat; it eases the burning sensation that has kept me awake the whole night. I run my hands through his curls, and his fingers raise to find mine. "Why are you up so early?" asks Isaac, his eyes heavy with sleep. "I never fell asleep," I tell him, twirling his curl around my finger. "You need to sleep," he whispers, making my hands be still. I twitch my fingers in hands, trying to keep moving. "Cameron, what is wrong?" he asks, looking me in the eyes. "I can feel it coming, and the intense fever and nausea started about thirty minutes ago," I answer, truthfully. "You are not going to school; I'm not willing to risk you collapsing in the hall," he says, concerned," just go to sleep and let it happen." "Promise you will stay with me?" I plead. "I promise I will stay by your side through the whole thing, sweetheart," he reassures me,"now close those pretty eyes."

I nod and snuggle against his figure, leading to my eyes falling shut. Soon I am drifting into unconsciousness.

Darkness surrounds us ; the only light source is the street lights in front of the school. A low howl comes from the woods, making me jump . I turn around to see Lyric, Isaac, Scott, Erica, Stiles, and Derek. We are standing in the school's parking lot ; Stiles' jeep and Derek's camero are parked in the front spaces. "Do you think he will come?" Scott asks. I look at my brother then Derek wondering the same. From behind, I see faint red eyes before the Alpha sinks its claws deep into Derek. Dark blood flows from his lips and he begins to choke. I stare in shock unable to move. Isaac drags me up the steps and into the school. Scott has a tight hold on Lyric who is screaming and thrashing. The alpha throws Derek into the side wall sending him flying to the ground. "Derek! Derek get up!" I yell. I continue yelling this over and over again; large tears fall swiftly as my body racks with sobs. My inner thoughts know this is just a vision and begin to produce an idea to save Derek.

A hand presses the spot beside me, waking me from my somber. My eyes spring open; they jolt around to find the culprit behind my awakening. "Calm down, sweetheart, it's just me," Isaac says, chuckling. "You woke me up," I tell him, whining. "At a good time too. You were shaking, and your fever was increasing,"says Isaac ,feeling my forehead," gosh you're hot." "I know I am," I wink. He playfully rolls his eyes; in addition, he kisses my forehead. I lean up and kiss him sweetly, then I pull him down on top of me. "I'm assuming you're feeling better?" he asks, pulling back. "Yeah, I am; by the way, what time is it?" I ask. "Three o'clock," he looks at the bedside clock. "So you skipped school for me?" I nudge him. "I told you I'd be with you through the whole thing," he smiles. "Well I think you deserve a thank you present," I grab his shirt, pulling his lips to mine. His hands glide up my neck; my hands pull his hair. "I just want to tell you that you are an amazing boyfriend and I don't deserve you,"I say, smiling into kiss. "Where did that come from," he asks. "No where I just wanted to tell you ," I hug him, think about the what I'm going to do. "Come on, lets go watch Doctor Who,"he grabs my hand and drags me downstairs.

Seven episodes of Doctor Who later, my phone vibrates in my lap. "Hello," I answer, while Isaac snuggles into me as he sleeps. "Cameron, we need you and Isaac down here now," Scott says, a tint of panic in his voice. "Where, Scott?" I ask. "Meet us at the school, Cameron, we will need help," he answers. "Okay, we are on our way," I tell him, hanging up the phone. "So we have to go to the school?" Isaac asks, his hair tickling my skin. "Yeah, he sounded worried so we better go now," I say, standing up and put on my shoes. "Yours or mine?" I ask about which bike we are going to take. "Mine," he says, hurrying as he grabbing the keys.

Once we arrive at the school, I fling my helmet off and hurry to the boys. In the parking lot, standing in a circle, is Scott, Lyric, Stiles, Erica, and Derek. "It looks like you have enough help. Why do you need us?" asks Isaac. "We are calling the Alpha, we need all the wolf power we can get," Stiles sighs, nervously. "Since you are here now, Stiles and I are going to call the real alpha," Scott tells us, glancing towards Deaton, who is unconscious in the backseat of Derek's car. "We already have the Alpha," Derek growls. "My boss is not the alpha," Scott yells, turning on his heels and heading towards the school. "Go with him; I can take care of myself," I tell Isaac. He nods an runs after Scott," Dude wait up." Scott turns to Isaac and half smiles,"Thanks for coming with us, man." "No problem,"Isaac smiles. They enter the school; Isaac winks as he looks back from inside. Minutes later a cruel, eardrum-busting screech plays through the whole school and into the parking lot. I hold my ears tightly as it continues; the sound begins to fade out after a mere thirty seconds. "Sorry guys," Scott chuckles over the intercom," let me try again." "Hmm hmm," he clears his voice. Suddenly a wall shaking growl roars through the speakers making me smile. The boys rush out of the school, making sure as to not miss any action. "Do you think he will come?" Scott asks. I look around in the darkness; the setting of my vision is in place. I take a deep breath, preparing for what is about to happen. From the circle, I look around waiting for the low growl. Then it comes; a terrifying growl that makes every hair on my body stand up. I jump looking around at my friends, hoping they understand my decision. As everyone turns to look at where Deaton was, the cruel, shinning, red eyes appear behind Derek. Now is when I have to make my move, when I have to save Derek's life. I step forward as the reflecting claws come into view, and I push Derek out of the way. The claws come down and penetrate my stomach; the blood rushes up my throat and spills from my lips. From behind, I hear Isaac hopelessly screaming my name. "Isaac," I whisper as the blood continues to flow from my mouth. The alpha slings me from his claws and into the hard brick wall; my body bounces off the wall with a thud, bone crack as I hit the ground. Pain washes through every inch of me as I lay motionless, paralyzed on the wet grass. My eyes fall and I feel myself slipping away; a single tear slips down my face as I say, "I love you."
