The Dragon & His Princess {NaLu story}

1: Lucy & Natsu

{Lucy's POV}

The morning light hit my eyes as I awoken. I couldn't wait for a new day. Because in this tower, I get to talk and see him, Natsu.

Ever since I was trapped in this stupid tower, he's talked to me and provide comfort. He knows me better than anyone else, it's been 4 years and I have compressed my feelings for him.

He is of the dragon clan. They despise my people. Natsu doesn't know why, he wanted know what was so bad about us so he approached me. He came to the conclusion that we're not so bad, and I too realized that the dragon clan are wonderful.

"Luuuccce. Luuuccy! Are you up in there?" I can hear his voice from the distance as flys towards me. He has wings. People of the dragon clan can appear human, but can conceal their true forms with wings and horns and scales.

"Yeah! I'm up" I inform Natsu as I stretch. "Though you didn't give me any time to get ready for the day Natsu."

He flies in with a grin. "Hehe, sorry bout that Luce. So what do ya wanna do today?"

"Oh I don't know, maybe talk or play a game.."

"That's boring Luce! How bout a little flying!"

"F-Flying?"

"Yeah! It'll be fun!!"

"I don't know, I've never flown before,"

"Aw don't worry, you'll be on my back, and I'm an expert at flying! I won't let you fall or anything," Natsu says looking into my eyes.

I fluster a color pink on my cheeks. "Ok then, but let me get ready first!" I say trying to shoo him away.

"Alright!" He yells and flies away.

I begin undressing, and walk to bathroom, the Gards every night refill the water when I sleep. As I head to the water I drop the towel and I'm about to get when Natsu's Voice interrupts me,

"Wait Luce how long are you gonna ta----"

"........"

"Wha-Wha-What are you doing there just standing there?! L-L-Look away Natsu!!!!!" I yell out my facing burning red. I can't believe another man other than my future husband saw me in the nude!!!!!!!

"S-Sorry, I-I didn't mean too," Natsu says with a tint of blush in his face while covering his eyes and turning around. "I was wondering how long you were going to take?" He says in a soft voice.

I start washing myself quickly, and reply. "N-Not that long, don't worry."
After my quick and short wash I dress into a small yellow dress.
"Y-You can look now Natsu." I tell him. He slowly turns around and looks at me with his onyx eyes that make me fluster even more.

"Great, let's go!" He says quickly brushing that incident over. That's Natsu, he doesn't take things like that the way others usually would.
"Hop on!" He signals me to piggy back ride him. I slowly approach him.

My hands touch his broad shoulders, and I hop on to his back. It feels rather awkward to be in such a position. When I do hop on, his arms hold on to my legs. I can't help but blush.

"Jeez Luce you can loose a few ya know?" He says.

"Sh-Shut it!"

"Just pulling your leg, ya ready?" He says and steps on to the window ledge, "Cause here we go!" He says and jumps off.

For a moment we were just falling straight down, until I notched his wings beginning to sprout out of his back, they where dark red, with scales and they were especially large. They were magnificent.

Natsu made loops and swirls, and took me so high up and showed me the view of the morning sky, the forest and the ocean from the distance.

It was fun at first, until we noticed the group of guards heading towards the tower.

Natsu flew me back in, and he used one of his abilities to turn invisible and hid inside the room. The door unlocked.

A man in an armor suit greeted me and handed me a paper, he also granted me case. He then took his leave.

"What's the letter & the case for Luce?"

"I don't know," I reply, opening the letter I began to read it.
