Natalie's POV
   It's 11:45 pm and I have new clothes on, a flashlight, and a knife. You never know if ya need it, right?
   I was about to leave when I decided to write my parents a note. I sat down at the table and grabbed a paper and pen.

Dear family,
   I'm sorry I'm not good enough. I'm a ugly stupid person. I should have tried harder... That's why I decided to go to the alley beside the abandoned apartments. Apparently that's where people die. It was a dare so if I don't make it out alive, I'm sorry. You guys need to stop treating me like this. I can't handle it, which is another reason why I'm doing this plus the bullies. Good bye mom and dad. Tell Lexi, I'm sorry.

   I leave the note on the counter and grab my things. I decided to walk to the alley cause it's 7 minutes away.

   I arrived at the alley and see Nick, Amelia, and Josh about 10 feet away from it.
   "Go in Natalie! Remember no one likes you!", Josh snickers.
   I glare and before walking in, I turn and look at them.
   "You guys are selfish jerks", I say and head into the alley.
   I'm guessing they left because of there loud walking. I continue to walk till I'm halfway. I look at my watch and see it's midnight.
   Okay I'm scared. I hear a rustling to my left which caused me to jump. I back away until a voice speaks up.
   "It's a lovely night... Wouldn't ya say Natalie?".
   The voice sounded calm but also like it was speaking from another time.
   I whip around to see a guy that looks about 19. His eyes were ruby red like the ones that I saw... Earlier. My eyes traveled from his eyes to his mouth. He had, fangs?!
   I looked towards the way out and sighed. YOLO, right? I start running as fast as I could but only to be pushed to the ground and him to drag me back. I screamed as my arms scrapped across the pavement of the alley.
   I remember my knife so I reached for my belt and grabbed it. As I flip my self into my back I stab him in the side.
   He stops walking and let's go of my ankle. He slowly turns to me and takes the knife out of his side. He holds it up and raises an eyebrow.
   "Really?", he asks
   I was to shocked that it didn't work that I didn't realize the blood dripping down my arms and legs.
   I stood up quickly and stood there staring.
   "What?", he asks with an amused expression.
   "Do you kill all those people?", I ask quietly.
   He nods and grabs my wrist. He probably knew I was going to run again. Which I was.
   "You sick animal!", I shout.
   Which probably wasn't a good idea cause he sunk his nails into my wrist a little. I whimper as he backs me into the wall.
   I raise my left hand and punch him in the face only to have my wrist brake.
    "Ouch! Frick!", I scream as he backs away one step.
   I look at him curiously while pain is shooting through my arm. His eyes turn almost black. I gasp and push myself farther into the wall... If that's even possible.
   "Your a vampire!", I say as his fangs come out.
   "Yeah and your my next victim", he says.
   I whimper and close my eyes. He walks a little closer and licks the little cut on my face. I open my eyes as I see him jump away.
   "You smell good but taste horrible!", he says angrily.
   I sigh in relief and he chuckles.
   "Your staying here", he smirks.
   My eyes widen.
   "That's not fair!", I exclaim and cross my arms and pout.
   "Yes it is, I wanna know about you", he says.
   "Your so bipolar", I say with a roll of the eyes.
   "I know", he chuckles.
