Chapter 19:

*Miranda's POV*

I am now looking at the sky.. More like, nakatunganga lang ako all that time.

I can't believe it...

Ang dami na nangyari.. Una si Devine, tapos si Winter naman? Bakit ganun?

Devine is already a rebel. She really changed. A big change happened to her. I often sees her at the campus, because she is really an a** now especially that she is a total b*tch.

While Winter?... Whenever I remember everything about it, tears are starting to form in my eyes. You see, Winter is Dead.

And I hate to hear it.. I really hate it and I felt anger within myself. Anger because I didn't even saw her atleast for the last time? And Anger because the one who did that crime is a friend who we trusted so much?

*Flashback*

I was in the library when I heard whispers from the other part of the bookshelf.

"Hey, have you heard the news?" I heard the girl said.

"Yeah, namatay daw siya?" medyo na-curious naman ako sa topic nila, but literally, baka about lang yun sa telenovelang napapanood nila o sa mga stories kaya hinayaan ko nalang.

"Pero na-clear na daw ba na katawan niya talaga yun?"

"Oo daw eh. Sabi ng mga pulisya, assassination daw ang nangyari. And guess what who's the criminal behind that scene?" nilipat ko sa kabilang page yung binabasa kong libro. Ang weird naman ng pinag-uusapan ng dalawang ito. Makaalis na nga lang...

"Si Silver daw." napatigil agad ako sa sinabi ng estudyante.

"My gosh.. I can't believe it. So totoo pala ang usap-usapang hindi lang basta-bastang gangster si Silver noh? Miyembro pa daw ng mafia." Mafia? It is an organization of--... wait.

"Not just any mafia group, sis. Lordinel Mafia are the most powerful mafia clan in the whole world." and the book I was holding fell from my hand. Silver is a... mafioso?

"That's why lalo siyang kinatakutan ng lahat. They said that he can easily kill a man with just a snap of his fingers, right?" A Lordinel... Silver Lordinel is a.. killer?

"And worst, the one he killed is his close friend.. No wait, former enemy, perhaps?" kinakabahan na ako sa susunod na sasabihin ng babae. I hope it's not. Please Lord, prove to me that they're not talking about her..

"Winter is the name, right? I remember how she defend the powerless against those people chuchu na mayabang." nanlumo ako sa sinabi niya.

"I also remember how cold she is. She is cold as ice. And she is brave and tough. She really fits to be the Knight of AOC." napahawak ako sa noo ko. Please, I hope that this is all just a lie.. just a dream...

"But unluckily, pinatay siya ng merciless king ng AOC... Ang War-leader natin, Si Silver Lordinel.."

"But, bati na sila diba? Grabe naman yun."

"Maybe may hidden galit pa din si Lordinel kay Winter kahit nangako nang makikipagbati? Siguro planado niya yun noh?" hindi ko na kinaya ang mga sinasabi nila at lumabas ng library. I shall see that bastard now... I MUST!!!

*End of Flashback*

No Silver Lordinel appear that time 'till the second day. Hanggang sa mawalan na ako ng pag-asa, because there is no trait of him.

Naalala ko pa nun kung papaano ako manginig sa lamay ni Winter that time. Maraming dumalaw sa kaniyang ka-schoolmates namin, nandun din yung mga fangirls and boys niyang todo iyak at talo pa ako. May mga bitbit silang banner at poster kung saan nakadrawing mukha ni Winter.
