Chapter Fourteen: Kissing (Megan)

I smiled up at Keegan; then looking over at my sister. At first I was like 'aww, she does like him' but then I noticed Josh's head was moving closer to her. Wait, was this superstar going to kiss my sister! I cleared my voice and Josh moved back. I was looking at Katie with one eyebrow raised.

"So..." Keegan said.

"I'm Keegan." He said look at my sister.

"Really?" She said. And I knew that tone. Oh so well.

"You know-" She started to say.

"Keegan." I cut in. He looked at me puzzled.

"I think we need to get the doctor let him know she up." I said.

"We'll go find him." He said looking at Josh as for him to follow.

"Wait..." My sister said. "Are you Keegan from..."

"Yes." He said smiling at her. "We'll be right back with the doctor."

I see Katie's hand squeeze tighter to Josh's.

Once the door shut I looked at my sister.

"Are you...." Katie stated.

"Was he..." I started.

We smiled at each others.

"You two where...kissing." She finally said.

"You say it like you've never seen me kiss." I said.

"Well... I have but not like that." What did she mean 'like that'?

"So, it looked like he was going to kiss you." I said.

She just looked at me.

"Well, we'll never know now will we?" She questioned but her face read the same thing I was thinking, which was yes.

"You know he's famous, right?"

"Yes."

"Oh, just making sure you know."

Why would she ask that; it's not like I live in a cave or anything.

"Katie?"

"Huh?"

"Have you two kissed?" I asked.

She opened her mouth to answer when the door creaked open.

"Hello, there Katie. How are you feeling?" Her doctor asked.

But she wasn't listening. Her eyes were looking behind the doctor but only Keegan was behind him.

"Where's Josh?" She asked.

"He'll be right back." Keegan said.

She bit her lips still looking unsure.

The doctor asked her a few more questions, she answered but her eyes keep darting to the door waiting for Josh, I bet.

'What is she going to do when we go back home?' I could help think when someone slipped their hand into mine. He leaned down and kissed my hand. 'What I'm I going to do when we go home?' I ask myself.

A sharp pain fills me up to my chest.

I must have looked scared, worried, sad, something because Keegan squeezed my hand.

I gave him my best fake smile.

There was a second when I forgot where I was.

"Megan?" The doctor said.
