Chapter 4: The Walk & The Call

"Did you enjoyed yourself tonight?" Jimin asked as we were on our way to my house.

"Yeah, I had a lot of fun just now." I said sincerely.

"That's great if you had fun." Jimin said happily.

After that there is a moment of silence as we walked until Jimin broke it.

"So...... what do you think about me?" Jimin nervously asked.

I laughed at his nervousness and said, "You? I think......"

I purposely hang my sentence for a moment as I walked in front of him to face him and looked into his eyes, "I think you are a really charming gentleman." 

Jimin was stunned by my sudden action and he blushed. I laughed again as I continued to walk leaving him behind because I find his reaction very cute.

Jimin caught up with me afterwards and walked beside me again.

"What about me?" I asked shyly. "I hope I didn't make you feel embarrassed."

Jimin smirked as I asked. Then he walked in front of me and turned his body to face me. I can feel my heartbeat increases as his face became closer to mine. Then he went to my ear and whispered, "I think you're really charming as well."

I blushed so hard after what he did so I pushed him and run away from him because of extreme shyness. Jimin just looked at me running away and laughed at my reaction.

"I hate you!" I said to Jimin as soon as he caught up with me again.

"You can't blame me though, you're the one who tease me first." He smirked as he said.

I just reply him with a light punch on his shoulder.

Soon, we arrived at my house and it's time to say goodbye.

"Thank you for today, Jimin." I thank him sincerely.

"You're welcome. I would like to thank you for coming too." Jimin said.

"Then should I say you're welcome too?" I giggled along with him as I said.

"Well I better get inside now, bye." I said.

"Wait!" Jimin called me as soon as I turned away from him.

I turned back and looked at him with confusion.

"Can I have your number so that maybe you know, we can hang out together next time?" Jimin asked.

"Oh sure why not." I smiled and gave my handphone to him to let him exchange our phone numbers.

"Okay done." Jimin returned my phone after he finished exchanging numbers. "Now you may go inside. Bye, Jungri."

"Bye." I said before I entered my house.

Jimin's P.O.V

I watched Jungri went back to her house and closed the door. Although I already send her home, I'm still standing there trying to organise my thoughts.

At first I tried to attract her since she's my prey, but I feel like I'm the one who is being attracted by her as I get along with her. I know everything starts to go wrong but it feels so right at the same time. I think I'm starting to fall for her. However even if we both do love each other, we can't be together because of my identity and besides, I have a fiancée although I haven't met her yet. Therefore, I can't fall for her and I must always remind myself that she's my prey.

"Jeon Jungri, your blood shall be mine very soon." I said to myself determinedly.

Then I left and walked back to my house.

Jungri's P.O.V

After I closed the door, I immediately call my step mother because I got so many questions about Jungkook's sudden return from America.

"Mom, you there?" I asked as soon as she picks up her phone.

"Of course I'm here, Jungri. What's wrong? Is everything alright?" Step mom asked me with worried tone.

"Did Jungkook return from LA? Because I met him just now." I asked.

"Oh yes! He came back 2 weeks ago with his friends called Bang......bang........"

"Bangtan Boys." I said.

"Yes! yes! Bangtan Boys. Wait a second, how do you know?" My step mom was surprised as she asked.

"I hung out with Bangtan Boys just now and I've met Jungkook even though I'm not sure if he recognises me." I said.

"Why don't you ask him then?" My step mom asked feeling confused.

"Mom, it's complicated but I'll tell him when the time has come." I assured my step mom. "But can you and dad help me to keep it as a secret?"

"Whatever you say, sweetie." My step mom reluctantly agreed.

"Mom, I heard his friend said that he's coming back to study at a university here." I said.

"Yeah, he said he came back to study at a human university in Seoul." My step mom said.

"Human university? But why? I thought he is a promising vampire and has a great potential in the magical world." I asked in confusion.

"It's because he wanted to get to know more about you so he decided to follow your footstep and look for you at the same time." My step mom said.

I was shocked by what my step mom has said.

"But my little Kookie can't even recognise me, his sister, when I appeared in front of him. Does my appearance really changed that much?" I asked and sighed as I was speechless with my brother's behaviour.

"And he makes me feel so guilty right now, how can he ruined his prospect just to look for me?" I continue to sigh as I said.

"About that you don't have to worry, he is still a promising vampire and he's now one of the committees in the headquarters of Vampires of Korea Association." My step mom said.

Vampires of Korea Association a.k.a. VKA, an association that organise and controls vampires' activities, so it's basically a government for the vampire society.

"Wow, that's great then." I feel relieved as my step mom said and feeling so proud and happy for Jungkook.

"Jungri," My step mom suddenly called my name with a solemn tone. "I've got something very important to tell you since you've already met Bangtan Boys. Have you met Park Jimin yet?"

"Yeah, he's the one who told me that Jungkook came back to study here. Why?" I asked out of curiosity.

"He's your fiancé, Jungri." My step mom said.

"What?!" I was shocked by what she said.
