"What?" I asked as I thought I misheard what he said.
"I want to ask you out for a date, Jungri." Jimin repeated.
"Sor-" I wanted to reject him but Sulyeon interrupt my words, "Of course she'll go, right?"
Sulyeon looked at me and Jimin, and before I could said anything she continued, "She said yes, then I'll leave Jungri to you. Bye guys, have fun." Sulyeon winked at me and said goodbye while linking her arm in Namjoon's arm.
I was left speechless as I watched the couple left.
"If only I knew this would happen, I'll not skip the class then." I sighed as I thought and started to swear at her in my heart. "Kang Sulyeon, I swear you are the dumbest person I've ever met in my life."
Jimin chucked as he knew what I was thinking. He grabbed my wrist and said, "Come on, let's go."
He held my wrist and started walking.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
Jimin looked back and gave me his killer smile, "You'll know when we get there."
I followed him without pushing his hand away. I don't know why but I feel like I'm not being my usual self when I was with Jimin. I was usually strong in front of people but my heart seems to become weaken when I was with him. I just can't resist him.
I stared at his hand that are holding my wrist and blushed. I can feel the butterflies in my stomach as we were walking. Knowing the fact that Jimin is my fiancé made me blushed even more.
I woke up from my thoughts when we stopped in front of a luxurious restaurant.
I looked at him and asked, "Are we going to eat here?"
"Yes." Jimin answered.
"But the restaurant is closed." I said in confusion.
"You don't have to worry about that, just follow me." Jimin said with a mysterious smile.
We went into the restaurant and surprisingly it was operating as usual. One of the waiter approached and greeted Jimin. "Good afternoon, boss."
My eyes were widen for what the waiter had called him.
The waiter led us to a table and Jimin pulled the chair for me to sit on. After both of us were seated, the waiter handed me a menu.
"I'll just have what I had as usual." Jimin said.
"Erm, I guess I'll have the same as him." I said to the waiter.
Jimin signalled the waiter to come closer to him and whispered something to the waiter. The waiter then nodded and left.
I looked around the restaurant and said, "Wow, I don't know you actually own a restaurant."
"It was actually my father's, but he gave this restaurant to me after I came back from LA." Jimin said.
Of course, I thought. I know his father, which is also my future father-in-law, is a CEO of a worldwide company aside from being the Head Vampire.
"Oh I see. Your family must be really rich then." I said in a calm tone as I already knew it.
Jimin seems to be a little surprised by my reaction and smirked.
"So what do you think about this place? Do you like it?" Jimin asked.
"I think it's really nice and I quite like it." I said politely although I'm not really into luxurious life.
"That's good if you like it." Jimin said with a meaning smile on his face.
Just then our food has arrived.
I was surprised because the waiter served up a plate of Seared Foie Gras for me but ramen for Jimin.
I frowned and asked the waiter, "Excuse me but I think you served the wrong dish."
The waiter smiled and said, "Miss, this dish is a special request for you from our boss."
I glanced at Jimin and smirked. "Oh I see. If that's the case, can you please give me an empty bowl?"
"Sure, miss." The waiter went to take a bowl.
Jimin stared at me for not understanding my actions.
While waiting for the empty bowl, I started to cut the food in half. After awhile, the waiter came back and handed me the bowl as I finished cutting. I put the plate in the middle and grabbed Jimin's bowl of ramen to my place.
"What are you doing?" Jimin asked in confusion.
"I'm distributing the food, *pabo." I rightly answered.
Jimin laughed in realisation and said, "Actually you can just eat what I ordered for you by yourself, you don't have to share it."
"You don't want to share your ramen, isn't it?" I teased him.
"No, I'm just curious, why?" Jimin asked.
I returned the ramen to Jimin after finish distributing and shyly said, "Because I'll feel bad if you eat ramen but I eat such fancy food, so I thought why not we share the food, then both of us will not feel bad. Besides, we can get to taste both at the same time."
"*Jal moke get sum nida." I said before I start to eat.
As I was eating, Jimin just stares at me instead of eating.
"What are you waiting for? Faster eat your ramen before it gets cold." I said.
"You're really different, Jungri." Jimin said with a meaning smile again and starts to eat.
"What makes you say that?" I asked.
"When I brought the other girls to this restaurant and tell them about my family background, they'll usually fawn over me and try to seduce me, but you don't." Jimin said.
I guess this is one of his trick to lure his prey, but why do I need to seduce him when he's going to be mine anyway. I smirked at the thought of it.
"First of all I'm not a gold digger, therefore money will never be the reason for me to like you." I said.
"If money is not the reason, then what will be?" Jimin asked.
"You itself is the reason. I like you in person, not your money and fame." I said naturally.
I can see he was touched by my words in his eyes, but the next second he chuckled.
"Jungri, do you realise that you just confessed to me?" Jimin teased me.
My eyes were widen as I accidentally told him my true feelings about him without realising. I looked away and blushed in embarrassment as I just realise what I had just said.
Jimin laughed at my reaction and said, "Well, since you confessed your feelings to me, then I guess I'll confess my feeling to you too."
I was flustered by what he said.
"I like you too, Jungri." Jimin said fondly.
I blushed even more after he confessed even though I'm not sure if he really likes me or not.
"Since we both like each other, then why not bring our relationship to the next level?" Jimin said with a seductive smile.
I looked at him and frowned.
"Do you want to be my girlfriend?" Jimin asked.
*pabo
- is a mild and sort of cutesy way to say "idiot", "stupid" or "fool"
*Jal moke get sum nida.
- literally this means "I will eat very well," but it implies "Thank you for preparing the food. I appreciate you preparing this food."
