Chapter 11: Back to the Good Old Days

"Who is this?" Namjoon looked at the photo and asked.

"Your new prey." I said with a poker face.

Namjoon raised his eyebrow and was puzzled by my answer.

I know what he was thinking so I sneered at his reaction and said, "Why do you give me this kind of expression? Oh I get it, you must have thought that I'm what? A saint? A savior?"

Namjoon didn't answer me and remain silent.

I guess I've got it right, so I sneered again and said, "If this is what you thought, then I'm sorry to disappoint you, Namjoon. I'm not that great as you thought."

I looked away from him with a smirk on my face and continued, "To be honest, I don't even care about the vampires hunting their preys as I, am a vampire too. However Sulyeon is a different case, she's a important friend of mine in the human society so I don't want anyone including myself to hurt her. That's why I went to save her just now."

I returned my gaze on Namjoon, "I know you will be irritated after I saved her so I've prepared another prey as an exchange. However, I'll only give you more details about her after you've done everything I said." I walked towards him and tapped his shoulder, "So for now, just follow everything I said and you will get what you want, and it's something even better." I smirked after I said the word "better", "I'm leaving now, bye." I finished my last sentence and walked away from him.

"Jungri." I stopped without looking back when Namjoon called me.

Namjoon looked at me with admiration, "You're really unpredictable."

I smirked after what he said and continued my way home.

I was about to arrive my house when I saw Jungkook already standing in front of the front gate waiting for me. He smiled when he saw me walking towards him.

"Why did you come now? It's not even 2pm yet." I asked.

Jungkook shyly smiled and said, "Well I don't have any other plans today so I thought I would come here earlier to spend more time with you." After that he looked at me apologetically and continued, "But if I'm bothering you then I'll visit again later."

When Jungkook was about to leave I quickly grabbed his wrist.

"Ya, what are you even talking about? How is it bothering when my brother is visiting me? Just come in." I said coolly.

Jungkook shyly nodded so I opened the front gate and invited him in.

We walked to the living room and I let him to have a sit.

"Would you like to have some drinks? Or do you want some blood?" I asked while I was taking off my mask and hoodies.

"No, thanks." Jungkook said.

"Okay." I replied.

I sat on the sofa after finished tidy up all the stuffs. The atmosphere became awkward afterwards as both of us remain silent for a couple minutes.

"So..." Both Jungkook and I spoke at the same time.

We let out an awkward laugh after that. I guess both of us tried to break the silence, I smirked as I thought.

"You say first." I said.

Jungkook asked, "What do you think about Jimin hyung? You seem to like him a lot."

I chuckled at his question and said, "I think he is really kind and gentle."

"That's all?" Jungkook asked in disbelief.
