Chapter 14

Chapter 14

I walked down what seemed like a million freezing hallways. I couldn't seem to believe what happened hours prior to now. As I finally get to the floor that Zeek was on my heart stopped I saw him. He had wires surrounding him and a respirator tube in his mouth. A tear slid down my cheek as I came closer to his room.


I sat in a chair next to his bed. Zeek looked horrible as if he didn't have sleep for three weeks his eyes had very bad dark circles around then as he slept. Knowing I couldn't see his breath taking orbs I sobbed silently to myself as I grabbed his hand and stroked his Palm with my left thumb. I began to have a conversation with him as if he where awake and could answer and be a part of it. I glanced at my phone and looked at the time. 12:00am. I leaned over to Zeek and kissed his cheek and whispered to him "Merry Christmas babe."

Zeeks POV (coma dreams?)


I walked in the meadow towards a woman weeping and sobbing. She was kneeled down on her knees with her hands covering her face. Why was she crying?

I got two steps close to her when she removed her hands to reveal the face of my beautiful angel "Myrah?!" I yelled. She looked frightened and her appearance had changed her eyes where bloodshot red as if she had been crying for days, She had deep dark circles around her eyes, and she was paler than usual. She was wearing a black dress. "Z-Zeek don't leave me." is all she said before she vanished before me. I began to panic as I saw the meadow disappear.


I looked around to see I was in a hospital room. I then saw myself lying in a hospital bed with wires strung all over me. I cringed at the sight of seeing myself. Then I saw her. She was sitting in the chair next to my body and was talking to me. Her face held great pain and looked as if she hadn't slept in days.

I walked closer to her wanting to touch her. Wanting to let her know I was there. When I touched her my hand vanished inside of her. Causing her to shiver. I looked back over to see myself lying in the bed. I heard Myrah speak. "Zeek don't leave me. I love you so much." I saw a tear slide down her face causing my heart to stop. This hurt more than I could imagine. I saw the door open to my room. I saw my parents walk in with sadness written on their faces. they went to Myrah and hugged her.

Once again I watched as the room vanished and all I saw was darkness again. I could hear them talking but I couldn't see them.
