Hey I have had exams that's why I haven't been writing much. Don't worry I haven't forgotten about you guys :)



Chapter 16.


[4 months later]



May. The month of finals graduations and of course prom. School had went by fast and me and Zeek's relationship had been getting stronger and stronger sense the accident. He had been fully released from the hospital a couple of weeks ago (which means he doesn't have to go to any doctors visits anymore.)


But sadly I was still thinking about if Zeek decided to go to a college far away from the one of my choice which I had been accepted into the Memphis school of arts. I had asked if Zeek where he had planned on going to college at but he changed the subject and acted weird every time I brought it up.

I hopped out of my car and walked into the school. As I was walking down the hallways with a crowd of astonished looking students I saw a lot of students in one spot where all chatting and pointing to whatever was beside the lockers. As soon as I tried to push my way to see what was going on everyone that looked at me moved to one side creating a aisle for me to walk down. When I got to where everyone wanted to get to I saw Zeek. As soon as he saw me he smirked.

Next thing I know there was violin players playing violins and Zeek walked up to me with a smile on his face "Myrah" he says my name which causes me to look at his shocking orbs. "Y-yes" my voice cracked. "Will you go to prom with me?" he said. I smiled and hugged him "YES!" Everyone cheered and clapped their hands.

[3 weeks later]


It's the night of prom and I'm extremely nervous. I go look at the beautiful dress my mom got me for prom. It was a pink sparkly dress that stopped at my knees. It was a strapless heart shaped dress that took my breath away when me and my mother went shopping for it.

I pull the dress off my wall and place it on my bed. I turned and went to the bathroom to get ready.

I heard the doorbell ring as I put the finishing touches on my makeup. OH MY GAWSH! I'm so nervous. I stand and collect my small clutch and make sure my phone, lipgloss, money, and anything I need for emergency purposes. I took one last look at myself in the mirror and took a deep breath and reassured myself that I could do it. I opened my door and walked down stairs.



"OH HONEY!" my mother screeched. "YOU LOOK SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!" Before I could say anything I was met with flashing of cameras from both my parents. "ugh mom dad? do you have to blind me before I leave?" they laughed. I didn't notice that Zeek was standing beside my mom until he cleared his throat. "You look beautiful babe." he said as he pulled me into a hug. I looked up at him "Thank you. You look handsome." I shyly grinned. "Thank you." he smirked cockily. Zeek looked so good in his tuxedo. the black suite with a pink tie which matched my dress perfectly. "OH I almost forgot something!" I said as I ran back to my room towards my jewelry box. I grabbed the heart necklace that Zeek got me for Christmas and clasped it around my neck. I went back downstairs and met Zeek waiting by the door.

"Ready?" he asks me. I nod my head. as ready as I'll ever be... I thought to myself.

We drove in a comfortable silence as we made our way to where prom would be held this year. It was held at a beautiful hotel. We got to the entrance and take pictures and talk to people. as soon as I saw the room that the prom was held in I gasped. It was beautiful the theme was "Champaign life" so the place was looking fly and everything was a bronze gold color, there was a touch of light pink around the room which tied everything together. The lights in the room sparkled and illuminated the both of us as we made our way to the dance floor and started slow dancing.


The night went by fast. Everyone was tired, hungry, and ready for bed. Me and Zeek left to get some food. I couldn't help but feel Zeek tense up as we walking into the tiny but elegant restaurant.

We sat at the table assigned to us. We ate and laughed until something serious stopped my laughing. "Myrah I love you so much.. Do you know that?" he looked me in the eyes. "I've been wanting to do this for so long now and I'm so excited that I can finally do it." he got up and kneeled down on one knee beside me taking my hand. "Will you marry me?" he asked In a soothing voice. wait WHAT! Marry him?! "I know we're young but I just want you to wear this and promise you that I will marry you! please. Be mine." I started crying while I nodded my head. "Yes I will marry you Zeek."
