[3 months later]

I stare at the clock in my fourth period class. Ugh only three more minutes until winter break. I was very anxious to get my winter break started with Zeek. This year I have planned to spend Christmas break with his family. This would be the first time I'll meet his whole family. 3, 2, 1,

RING RING RING!!!!!

Quickly I packed my things and scrambled through the class, avoiding as many class mates as I could so I would be the first out the door. As I made my way into the hall I saw Zeek leaning on the corner wall beside lockers grinning at me. "Let's go slow poke!" he joked. rolling my eyes I said "I'm coming geez!" walking ever so slowly over to him trying to make him irritated with me. But of course it didn't work. When I finally made it to him he kissed me on the cheek. "let's get outta here!!" he said. We dodged so many people in the noisy Hall way stumbling across students laughing and shooting spit balls on the ceiling, and teachers yelling "STOP THAT.... HEY!!! COME HERE IM WRITING YOU UP!!" and seeing some student retreating quickly into the sea of students which made him hard to target to the teacher. Then I felt Zeeks hand link into mine pulling me through the crowd.

Finally in the parking, lot we both walking side by side, made it to his car. Zeek opened the passenger side door for me. Getting into his car, I buckled my seat belt and Zeek closes my door. a few seconds later he reappeared sitting next to me on the driver side of the vehicle.

We ended up stopping at the mall an window shopped. I know not the best date in the whole wide world but I was still with Zeek, which was all that mattered. We walked through the mall hand in hand until I stopped at the jewelry counter at griffins. I gasped when I saw the most beautiful necklace I've ever seen. The necklace was a heart full of Diamonds with a silver background on it. "Do you like it?" Zeeks voice startled me out of daydreaming about the necklace. nodding my head as a response to his answer I kept eyeing that necklace. I was two busy looking inside the glass case that framed all the beautiful jewelry the little shop had to sell that I had forgotten about Zeek! I turned around to walk off "Zeek?" I called. "I'm right here baby!" he yelled wondering my way back to the front of the shop I noticed that Zeek was talking to some woman at the front of the store.

Zeeks POV


I noticed that Myrah wasn't paying any attention to where I was going so I went to find someone to see if I could purchase the heart necklace Myrah was drawn two.

"Excuse me ma'am" I had noticed someone at the very front of the store that had just finished up with some other customers. "Good afternoon sir would you like any help?" she said cheerfully. "Yes. My girlfriend seems to like the diamond heart necklace that's back there I was wondering if I could purchase the necklace." I said. "Let me just go to the back and get the necklace the one in the case is for display only." she said. Zeek watched as she wobbled away in her four inch heels.

[A few moments later]

"Okay sir I've got everything ready and I have the bar code." She said as she enters the codes into the computer. "Alright that will be 2,500." she said. Zeek froze. What? I don't have that kind of money. My job cut back on my hours because the new workers where coming in. I barely have the thousand I scrapped up for my whole family and Myrah. "Ma'am I don't have 2500. Is it possible to get a discount or possibly put it on layaway?" He said as his voice cracked. "I'm sorry sir no discounts but if I put this necklace on layaway the longest time I could hold it for is 30 days." She says. Zeek nodded his head "Well thank you anyways."

"Zeek?!" Hearing Myrah calling my name sent a warmth in my heart. yeah I know she won't be upset if I don't get her the necklace she wants but I know she deserved it." Zeek??!" She called again "I'm right here baby!" I called to her. Then I see her my heart instantly felt warm. The smile she had on her face instantly relieved me of my worries deep down inside I was determined to get Myrah that necklace even if that meant working double shifts. I smiled back at Myrah and took her hand "Lets get you home now mi-lady." Chuckling she replied "alright."

Myrahs POV

There we where, parked outside of my house. Turning to face Zeek one last time before exiting the car he pulled me into a heart stopping kiss. pulling away Zeek mumbled "I love you so much Myrah." I could tell he was telling the truth by the warmth in his hazel intense eyes. "I love you to Zeek." I say pulling him back into a kiss.
