Angel leaves the house. she knows he will be there. Papyrus practically announced that he will prepare for his final stand. She didn't exactly want to fight Papyrus but he did still have a job to do. That job was to capture her. Treading through the snow, she saw the kids from yesterday watching. The mouse, horns, and MK. Angel waves to them as she leaves Snowdin. A mist swirls around her. It grows thicker and thicker the longer she walked.

"HUMAN! ARE YOU PREPARED FOR A FINAL BATTLE?"

The area around them turns dark as papyrus takes a stance. Angel sighs and crosses her arms. Her soul necklace materializes. "Do I have to do this?"

"So you won't fight hm? Then stay still and allow me to capture you!" He sends out a round of glowing blue bones. She stays still as they pass right through her body. When they stopped, her heart suddenly turned blue and her body felt heavy. There was a faint blue glow around her. It was almost like Sans when he lifted her off the ground.

Bones shot out of the ground and started coming towards her. Angel jumped over a few short ones but a tall bone hit her in the side. It didn't wound her as badly as Flowery. The hit was softer on the body but her soul gained a crack. "JUMP HIGHER GEEZ!" Funny that he's trying to help her dodge his own attack. She ducks under another projectile only to get hit in the chest by another three. The soul looked like it was about to shatter.

Papyrus noticed the state of the heart as well and the black walls disintegrate. The girl was exhausted and collapsed onto the ground. She could feel herself being lifted up before blacking out completely.

It felt like a few hours later when she woke up in a shed, laying on a.... Dog bed? There was a bowl with chopped up hotdog beside a note. Angel lays down on her back, staring up at the ceiling. Chara floats beside her. "Hey, Chara?"

"Yeah?"

"Do humans have magic?"

"I don't think so. They usually don't have wings either. Then again it was sorcerers that made the barrier."

She looks behind her at the wings that were too small to fly. Well she never tried flying ever since she fell off the table in Toriels home during an attempt at takeoff. She had to have these wings for a reason right? Looking away, she gives them a wiggle. Chara seemed to perk up at that moment and flew/glides over to be behind her. "Do that again but flap instead." Ling as instructed, she moved her wings in what felt like flapping. Over the years she had gotten used to moving the extra appendages.

Chara watched the feathered limbs glow faintly as Angel's body lifted a fraction off the ground. Her eyes were closed in concentration so she didn't notice her levitation until she bonked her head on a beam holding the ceiling up. Her wings stop moving, thus causing their owner to fall back down to land on her rear. "Ouch.... What happened?"

"You.... Were.... Flying... That was so cool!"

Angel rubbed her sore spot that was forming on her head. "A bit tricky.... But I think I can work with it." It might help her dodge Papyrus' attacks more. She gets up and walks over to the door of the shed. It was locked from the inside. Looking at Chara with a raised brow, she flips the lock and heads outside. Surprisingly MK was waiting for her. "Yo! You okay? I say the skeleton dude bring you in here and you weren't moving."

She smiles and coached in front of him to be at eye level. "Yeah. I was leaving to start heading to the barrier but ran into some trouble. No worries though. I'm keeping my promise to all of you." She stands up straight and looks off towards the path with a new strength in her expression, new determination. She walked forward through the fog until she saw Papyrus. "Hey!"
