"Do you really hate me that much? Hehe. And here I thought you wouldn't fit in." She watched at Toriel's body crumbled into dust and became a pile of white powder on the floor in front of the door. Her hands shook with the plastic knife falling out of her grasp. She looked down and saw black feathers scattering the floor where the battle took place. Her arms and sleeves were sprinkled with white.

Such small hands. A child's hands. Angel did the only thing that came to mind the moment she realized it was all from the ruin dwellers. Her friends. Her family. She screamed. She screamed and screamed and didn't stop until she felt her body being shook awake by warm boney hands.

She gasped awake and wrapped her arms around the skeleton's ribs as tight as she could without breaking them. Her sons were smothered by his white turtleneck. "S-sans."

"hey what's wrong girlie?"

She shook her head and just buried her face even more. The nightmare was terrifying. Why would she dream such a thing? Toriel.... Oh god her face. The bleeding gash across her chest. Her sobbing continued as she tries focusing on the hand stroking her hair. "ssssh. it was a nightmare. buddy, i'm going to tell you what I always told paps. the dreams aren't real. now is real. the present."

He pulls away and holds her face to look up at him. That's when she noticed the grooves beneath his eyes that made him look exhausted. She reaches up and touched the right one. "You look tired Sans."

"yeah? well i don't sleep a lot."

Angel rose a brow since she remembered papyrus saying he did.

"okay. not at night. but i'll nap whenever i can."

Wiping her eyes, she gets up from the couch and sighs. "My head hurts." She groans while she clutched her head. "That wasn't juice was it?"

"nope."

Giving another groan, angel runs her finger through her tangled hair. "I need to keep going. Just need to keep going until I reach the end." She opens the door and looks back at him. "See you later Sans. Let's hang out again but... stop me before I touch even a drop of alcohol." She closes the door behind her. The image a slain Tories flashes behind her closed eyelids.

Close her eyes to not see those that don't exist.... Yet she still sees events that never were. Chara hasn't said anything. She knew she was there but sometimes Chara had silent periods sometimes. Walking towards the entrance, she felt a familiar presence. Her eyes open and she sees Gaster at the cave entrance.

"Hey." She says, her voice somewhat quiet.

He turns his misshaped body around to see her and his already carved out smile grew. His distorted words came out while he used sign language. Neither one she knew. Another thing to ask her ghostly companion. Going into the caves again, she spots MK waiting. "Yo! Where'd ya go? You just up and left."

"Sorry. Hey. Run on ahead, I'll catch up okay?"

"Sure!" Angel watched the armless Dino run off but not before falling flat on his face. She chuckled and looks at the walls, placing her hand over a fluorescent blue crystal. They were prettier than the picture books back at the ruins. She walks over to a blue flower And crouched down in front of it. The blue glow reminded her of something.

Her eyes glance at the sentry station. She didn't know why she was looking at the napping skeleton but there was this nagging feeling in the back of her mind. Shaking it off, she begins to walk. The ground became a wooden bridge. She followed it but stopped in front of a waterfall. The water sprays her skin as she stares. There was a camera on the other side of the translucent curtain.
