I was a normal guy with a normal life, who never believed that love existed until I saw her smiling. Iris Walker's- my first love, and probably my last too. We knew each other since we were in the second standard. We never used to talk much even when we were in the same class, I had my own group of friends and she had her own. She was a funny and smart girl who always used to be happy, not caring what others thought about her.
As we grew up and turned 11, we started talking to each other, started to know each other, but still weren't so close. It was just a normal friendship which consisted of only HI's and HELLO's. She was always so sweet and caring that I suddenly started liking her. It was a very new feeling as I had not felt this way for anyone ever in my life. It was kinda embarrassing in the starting, but as time passed by I started liking her even more.
I would always find reasons to talk to her but we couldn't talk much. I could never even think of telling her about how I felt for her, that I was crushing on her. I knew that I was just a kid and relationships are way too hard to handle for a 11 year old. I also knew that she didn't feel the same way as I did, so the fear of losing the friendship with her always holded me back whenever I felt like confessing it to her. It was really a very new thing for me and I had decided to never tell her about this and keep this as a secret crush.
