My Faulty Destiny

Few weeks passed, and I still didn't know how to deal with it. I thought that this would be easy to forget, but it wasn't so easy. I was never able to forget her. Everytime I closed my eyes, it was her face that appeared in front of me. I started dreaming about her every night as I went to sleep.
Christian, who was a very good friend of mine, the guy whom I looked up to as my elder brother, he was the only one with whom I shared each and every thing of my life. I never used to keep any secrets to him. He was the one whom I trusted the most and I knew he was the only one who could help me here, so I decided of telling about Iris.
One day, we were chatting when I told him, 'Bro, I have to share something with you, something very important.''What is it?' He asked. And I told him everything that was going on with me since the past few weeks. I told him that I had a crush on Iris. He was kinda shocked when I told him all this, but then he told me that it's okay. He helped me to understand what I was feeling about Iris.
Six Months passed and I still never told her. I started stalking her secretly, during our school recess, I used to look at her and smile like an idiot, seeing her smile too made my whole day a lot better. Her smile had become my favourite thing to see. I had fallen in love with her smile.
I told Christian that I was starting to fall in love with Iris but he always told me that I'm too young for love. He told, 'You just like her bro, you don't love her. Liking someone and loving someone are two different concepts. This is just an attraction and trust me, after a year or two you will realize that you never loved her.' I would just get sad and reply, 'Okay brother, we will see.' I always thought that I had fallen for her, but he still kept on telling me that it's just an attraction. This made it more complicated, and I was very confused about what to do next.
