I sigh as I walk through the crowded hallway. People stumble into me as I push them back. I probably looked like shit with my messy hair and dark bags under my eyes.
It's been about two hours since the paparazzi incident and I'm tired as shit. It's not the lazy kind of tired, it's the 'I'm tired of everything for no reason but every reason' kind of tired.
And I blame it all on Ashton, my beloved boyfriend.
"Having trouble in paradise?"
I don't have to turn around to know that voice. "Shut up, Liam." I grumbled. We both walk to English where it was half empty.
"Where's your whore?" I ask as we sit down.
Liam groans. "Stop calling her that."
"Stop talking about Ashton then," I demand.
Liam shuts up immediately. I smirk at that.
The teacher walks in and everyone becomes silent. It hasn't been a minute and I'm already bored out of my mind.
"Hey Liam," I hiss. "Do you have ketchup?" He hands me a small packet of ketchup from McDonald's. "What the fuck?!" I whisper shout. "Why on earth do you have ketchup in your backpack?"
"You asked me for it ..." he trails off uncertainly.
I roll my eyes. "I didn't think you'd actually have one."
"What do you plan on doing with it anyway?" he asks. "Eat in class? Wow, you're such a badass," he says sarcastically.
I glare at him. "I will eat if I want to, where I want to, and no damn teacher will tell me otherwise."
I rip open the packet of ketchup and put it around my nose to make it look like a nose bleed.
"Mr. Cullen!" I yell out. "I'm bleeding! And it's not the period type of bleeding!"
Mr. Cullen looks to me and motions his hand to the door. I stand up and keep my head up as I walk out the class. I close the door and get a tissue from my backpack and wipe my nose clean.
Now that I'm out, what should I do?
"Spend the day with me."
I spin around doing a karate chop position at Ashton. I stand normally when I notice it's only him.
I cross my arms. "Why?"
He shrugs. "Because I'm your boyfriend and you're suppose to please me."
My jaw drops. "Ha! Bitch, you thought."
I turn around and walk towards the main entrance. I feel Ashton following behind me but I don't mind. As long as he doesn't touch anywhere near my South Pole, it's all good.
He jogs up beside me. "Wanna go on a date with me?"
I think about it for a moment. I left Liam behind and that only leaves Ashton. Unless I want to grab Teddy out of school and go to Chuck E Cheese, he's my last option.
Or I could always bother my parents at work ...
"Okay," I agree. "But I don't want to sit at a restaurant and talk about our day. Like, what if I want to go laser tagging? Dinner dates are lame."
Ashton laughs and it sounds beautiful, it makes me smile. "I love the way your mind works, sweetheart."
I blush. "Stop it," I gush.
Ashton suddenly bends down and lifts me up over his shoulder. "Wha—, um, Ashton?" I ask. "What are you doing?"
"It's a surprise, and since I don't have a blindfold, I need to carry you backwards."
"Are there paparazzi?" I ask.
He slaps my butt softly, making me gasp.
He didn't ...
"Don't worry about it, sweetheart."
He suddenly drops me softly on the ground but firmly holds my chin. He taps my nose. "Turn around," he says.
I slowly turn around and gasp at the sight in front of me. Parked in its own parking spot, there was a black Yamaha GTS1000 sports bike in front of my eyes. I think my eyes are burning at how beautiful it is.
I squeal and run in place. I turn around and jump on Ashton, hugging behind his neck and wrapping my legs around his waist.
"Oh my fucking God!" I screech. "I love you, I love you, I love you!" I pepper kisses all over his face. His forehead, his nose, his jawline, and his cheeks.
He doesn't stop me, he only laughs.
He puts me back down. "Calm down, sweetheart."
I ignore him and jump on the motorcycle and put on the helmet. I sit where the driver does and turn to Ashton.
"Are you getting on or ..."
He raises an eyebrow. "I was planning on driving."
I scoff. "Well, too bad. Get on!" I rev the engine.
Ashton laughs under his breath and walks over to me and gets on behind me, wearing his helmet securely.
I expected him to wrap his arms around my waist but instead, he puts his arms over mine on the handles.
"I need to know we're not going to die," he whispers in my ear.
I shrug him off and drive out the school's parking lot. Ashton tenses behind me but I ignore him. I know what I'm doing and I plan on showing him that.
The motorcycle drives perfectly straight through the smooth road and the streets are half empty, giving us lots of space to drive by.
"You're not as bad as I thought!" Ashton yells.
I laugh. "You don't know me Marshall!"
And then I realized, I don't know where I'm going. We never said where or what our date was going to be or be doing.
I slow down my speed and pull over. I take off my helmet and crane my neck to see Ashton. "Where are we going?"
"Laser tag, isn't that what you wanted?" He looks confused. It's adorable.
"Well, yeah, but I'm not paying, right?" I ask.
He chuckles and puts my helmet on for me. He turns my head around and puts my hands on the bar handles.
"I've got it taken care of, sweetheart."
We start driving back on the road, I try to lead the bike but Ashton's stronger and wants to control it so I let him.
As long as he's paying for our date, I'll be glad to let him kill us in a motorcycle accident.
