"I am normal, my family is normal, and we are a Perfect family"
I kept saying in my head while I stared at myself in the mirror.
"Breakfast is ready Amanda, get your butt DOWNSTAIRS NOW" my mom yelled
"I'm coming" I said
I ran down stairs to the kitchen and sat at the table.
"Where's Steven" I said
"Who" my mom said
"My younger brother, he's only 6, brown hair with really light brown eyes. He has-
"Oooooo yeah I forgot, sorry sweety I have been going through a lot with your father and the divorce. He's with your father for the day.Did your sister happen to come home last night?
"No mom she didn't come.
It hurts me to say that to my mom and see the look of loss hope on her face. My sister Amber ran away from home with her boyfriend Joe 10 days ago and the only time she calls me is when she needs money.
"Mom it will be okay" I said while getting up to hug my mom
"I know" my mom says quietly
My mom sheds a tear and I wipe it off with my hand.
"Everything is my fault. Amber is gone, Steven only talks to his imaginary friend, and your father is leaving me for a younger women." My mom says while crying
"Stop crying mom everything is not your fault, just go to work, I'll clean up the table"
My mom nods and walks away to get her purse.
"I'll call you during my lunch break to check up on you, I love you" my mom says
"I love you too" I say while waving to my mom to leave
My mom walks out the door and I'm now alone. I turn on the tv and see that spongebob is on. I click it on because it's the only thing to watch and who doesn't love a yellow sponge and a pink starfish.
1 hour later
It seems that I have fallen asleep but I wake up to the sound of a truck. I jump up and run to the window. It's a moving truck right across the street. I watch as they pull out their flat screen tv and the couch.
"A blue couch, what a tacky color"
Then two boys get out the truck.
My heart started beating fast. They were beautiful one boy had blonde streaks in his hair and he was very muscular. He wasn't wearing a shirt but he had on nike shorts and Adidas flip flops.
The other boy had one blue streak in his hair and his hair was a little bit curly he was also shirtless. MY GOD.He was also very muscular. And he was wearing black sweatpants and Harachis.
They were talking to each other and then the one with the blue in his hair looked over at my house and saw me looking thru the window. He tapped the other boy with blonde in his hair and he looked and waved.
I waved back feeling embarrassed. Now they are going to think that their new neighbor is a creep. Great. I close the window shade and I walk back to the couch to continue my nap.
