It was 8 o clock and my mom just walked in.
"Amanda wake up" my mom said
"Yes mom" I said
"You was on this couch all day"
"No I got up and used the bathroom and I even made myself a sandwich"
"I'm soooo impressed" my mom said sarcastically
"Someone just moved across the street" my mom said
"Yeah I know these two really hot boys, I mean not hot just really cute, not cute I mean-"
" calm down they are probably way older then you if they are living by theirselves." My mom said seriously
"I don't know mom they kinda look like teenagers " I said
A car pulled up to our house and out came my dad and Steven. I ran and opened the door.
" hey Steven and hi Mister" i said
"Amanda don't be mad at me like how your mother is I love you guys both. It's just that I need someone different." My dad said
" someone younger, close to my age I guess" I said under my breath.
My dads girlfriend was this girl name Stefanie she is 21 and my dad is 48. She is closer to my age, 15 then to my dads age 48.
"Where's your mom I need to talk to her" he said
"In the living room"
He walked in the living room and I hugged Steven.
"Hey buddy how you doing" I said
He didn't speak he just stared off into space.
Ever since my parents got divorced he haven't spoken to anyone except his imaginary friend named Steve.
"Just speak Steven it's been 1 and a half months now and it's getting lonely without you"
It's true it was getting lonely. I don't know what to do.
Steven walked away slowly. Like he couldn't see me.
"Come on Steve lets play with Legos"
Steven said to his imaginary friend Steve as he walked upstairs
Meanwhile in the Living Room
"Linda you need to put Steven in therapy he is your son and he needs to talk like a human"
"Adam he is also your son he's also your responsibility he also someone you are supposed to be taking care of"
"Linda it's your fault he isn't talking"
"It's both of our faults so don't say that"
"Your a bad mother"
" and you are a HORRIBLE FATHER GET OUT OF MY HOUSE"
"I will"
I walk in the kitchen a minute after I see my father leave.
"Mom everything will be fine" I said
"I know, I'll make dinner okay. Go outside and check the mail" she said
"Okay"
I walk outside and see the two boys fixing the light outside of their door.
"Let me just hurry up so they won't see me" I say to myself
I start to run and then I trip over my own foot😑
" hey are you okay" I hear a boy say his voice was deep but sounded beautiful. He picks me up and I turn to look at him his eyes were greenish and they were beautiful.
"I'm Grayson and you are beautiful" he said
"Brother stop being creepy" the other boy said
"I'm Ethan and he isn't lying you are beautiful"
I start to feel my cheeks warm up
"My name is...... Ummmm..... I ...." I tried to say my name but I was too stunned to say anything.
"Well nice to meet you Umm, that's a unusual name for a pretty girl but I guess you are special" Ethan says while smiling
"Sorry my name is Amanda" I finally say
"Amanda that's a cute name " Grayson says
"Thanks" I said
"Me and Ethan are twins" Grayson says
"I can tell" I say while giggling
"Weren't you the girl spying on us in the morning" he says
"No that wasn't me" I say
"It was you, trust me I couldn't forget that pretty face" Ethan says while he touches my hand.
Ethan kisses my hand and looks up at me.
"Your hand Is not the only thing I want to kiss" Ethan says as he winks at me
"Ethan is not really good with talking to girls as you can see" Grayson says as he laughs
"I guess you really are bringing out the best of him, but too bad you like me more" he says
Ethan's smile goes to a frown as he stares at Grayson. You can feel his eyes staring. It was like it was piercing Grayson's skin.
"Well I got to go" I said sadly.
My mom was probably waiting for me.
Grayson hugs me then Ethan hugs me.
"We will see you later" Ethan said
"Bye beauty" Grayson says
They watch me walk in to my house.
"So who was that" my mom says right when I walk in
"The neighbors they are twins named Grayson and Ethan " I said
"Those boys are going to be trouble I just know" my mom says seriously
"How you know " I said
"Because boys who are very attractive are always trouble"
