Like Elizabeth to Darcy we must enter a glamorous garden with roses and vines and sweet strawberry plants.
As we wander the pathway we shall pass a mass of sweetpeas, pansies, violets and scurrying ants;
Who create a harmonious rainbow of saphires, opal and amethyst in a garden of emerald blades.
April is the best time for Alpine strawberries to fruit and we pick through the bushes for ruby parades.
Those sweet little gems can give such a delightful taste in early days of summer.
