You loved me once so love me again
You played my lover now barely a friend
You treat me like an animal and keep me in a cage
And then you blame me for feeling rage
Yes I bit you and yes I cried
But with you my future died
You no longer take me to your bed
We are married we're meant to be wed!
You gave no child nor loving touch
You wonder why I've had enough
Where once was love now consumed with hate
Heed this warning Rochester is not great
You call me monster, you call me names
But it is YOU who inflicts these pains
I'm an animal calling in the night?
You aweful man you have no right!
So take up your life with this new pretty girl
Your lies and false marriage will unfurl
Because you are cruel unto your wife
I was meant to be a mother and you ruined my life!
So if you say I am full of scorn
This is the anger you had born
Your heart is cruel and full of spite.
I remind you dear husband God gave me a right
A right to live and be a loving bride
You can run but you can never hide
You have done me so many wrongs
And you sir will never hear heaven's song
For blasphemy, adultery and teasing Jane and I
I doubt that you will ever manage to reach those golden skies.
If you would repent you could love me
But you can't forgive and let me be
Be a lover, be a wife, be a mother, be your life.
I tried and tried and you know that well
All I can say Rochester is go to hell
