"Kageyama?!", I yelled as I jumped back into the water. I hear his mother yelling at me, but I refused to listen. I open my eyes, the water stinging them but I can't close them. I see a shine of his jet black hair and I swim as fast as I can to him. I grab his hand and I pull him to me, pressing my lips against his. I force all the air from my lungs to him before swimming to the surface. I pull him to the shore and I put him down on the sand. I can't tell, but tears are running down my face as I compress his chest, performing CPR. After a minute or so his face twitches slightly before he coughs up all the water in his lungs. When he opens his eyes again I look at him and let myself continue sobbing, leaning on him.
"I-I wasn't sure what w-w-was gonna happen to you. I was so scared", I say hiccuping in the middle of my sentences. With my face buried into his chest I hear someone run towards us in the sand. I recognize his mother's voice.
"What the heck happened?", she says. I don't move even though I should be the one explaining. But Kageyama places his arm on my back and I feel his chest expand as he breathes in.
"I was drowning. Shouyou noticed and he saved me. He pulled me out of the water and performed CPR to the best of his ability", I hear his usually deeper voice crack and his arm tighten around my waist. I look up to see a tear stream down his face, which drips off his face and drops on my nose. My arms before were just pulling me into a ball shape to hide my face against his chest, but now I wrap my arms around him. He buries his face into my hair and I tighten my grip around him. I feel his mother smiling at us, sitting in the sand, soaking wet and embracing each other. Then I hear another person crunch towards us in the sand. We look up to see his father, the only one who didn't know about the two of us.
