Hey guys! The author here, almost four years later. I wrote this story when I was in the eighth grade, and it's insane seeing the amount of love it has gotten since then. The first book Soulmates even has 100k reads! I wanted to thank you all so much! After I wrote these stories I stopped watching Haikyu!!, and recently I started watching again. It made me think a LOT about my Wattpad platform and how popular this series got. It also made me realize that I would like to write another story, hopefully of better quality this time. If I decided to do that, would anybody be interested?
ALSO! I'm very aware that the way this book ended was very surprising and not very realistic. Both to the actual way Hinata died, to his character, the portrayal of mental illness and Japanese culture. Honestly, at the time I didn't care much, and was honestly just wanting to write a story about two boys because it seemed special and different. In recent times I've realized how morally wrong I was and how I truly want to write something that is accurate, and not just something to satisfy the confusion and curiosity that consumed all my media in 2016.
(Also also, not to bring more serious matters to the table, but I would like to say that I support the BLM movement and have been very active on my other platforms. Injustice towards our black friends and family will never, ever, be tolerated on this page, nor anywhere else. things wont change until we work to make the difference.)
