My Sunshine

     I get to the entrance of the school and I sigh, fishing around in my pocket for the envelope. My breath hitches when I only pull out my phone. I hear someone behind me, and I turn to see my favorite person. The thing is, he was the last person I wanted I see right now. He looks down and holds out the envelope. I take it from his hand slowly and I take a step towards him. He looks up and takes a step back, almost defensively. I catch his cinnamon eyes, but instantly his gaze slips through my grasp.
     "W-When were you going to tell me?", he stutters. "I don't even know why you're going to America", he exclaims. I sigh before looking up at the small boy.
    "I have some family there and I'm supposed to be going to a school there. I'm going to be there until next June", I say. I notice him tense and I know he's going to run. I quickly grab him from around his waist. He kicks and squirms, but I manage to turn him around and kiss him. He stops fighting back and I put him back down on the ground, my hand wrapped around his. He looks at me and I smile at him.
     "I had to give you something before I left", I say.  I pull a small box out of my pocket and I hand it to him. On the opening bit, a silver word is imprinted on the deep red velvet. Promise. There's two golden rings with our names carved into them. He looks back up at me smiles weakly before looking down again allowing a tear to run down his cheek.  I wipe it away and I take the one with the S on it and I slide it on his ring finger. He leans up and kisses me again when my phone beeps. I scream slightly.
     "I'm gonna be late for my plane!", I say. Hinata grabs my hand.
     "I'm coming with you. I'd be an awful boyfriend if I didn't see you go right?"
