Frantically, Saige runs into her house after school and runs straight into the bathroom. She scurries through her bag. Finally, she pulls out a pink box that says, "First Response". She breaks open the package and takes the test. Two lines. Scared, she takes another. Two lines. And another. Two lines. And another. Two lines. And then, the final test. Again. Two lines.
"No!"
Saige throws everything away except for one test. She hides in her room, curled up in her bed crying, while staring at the test. She hasn't heard from Alex in a week. He ignores her calls, he ignores her texts, he ignores her when he sees her in the hallway. So, what is he doing?

A: gotcha.

A: Nice.
B: I'll be waiting.
A: Alright.
B: See ya soon :)
A: yupp.
The next day in school was a very bad day for Saige. She always tried to talk to Alex, but he wouldn't budge.
"Alex, please talk to me." said Saige as she chased Alex down the hallway. She followed him all the way to his locker. As he was shoving books into his locker, she slammed his locker door shut.
"Look at me!" she yelled! The second bell rang and everyone scurried to their assigned classrooms. It was now just Alex and Saige in the hallway.
"What do you want, Saige?"
"I want to know why the hell have you been ignoring me!?"
"I have nothing to say!"
"Is this because, I won't have sex with you?"
"It is so much more than that!" exclaimed Alex. He locks his locker and begins to walk away. "Just leave me alone, Saige."
She pauses. He takes a few steps. She takes a deep breath and gains the courage she never thought she would have.
"Alex, I'm pregnant."
Alex stopped dead in his tracks, dropped his bag, and turned around.
He started to speak, but a full sentence couldn't come out of his mouth.
"I'm pregnant."
"I.....you are?"
"Yes." she said sadly. "This is why I have been trying to call. I was going to tell you I was late on my period and I wanted you to be there with me when I took the test."
Alex stares are her blankly and then drops to his knees and cries. Saige runs over to him and kneels down right beside him. Without hesitation, she wraps both arms around him and begins to cry. He grabs a hold of her and holds her tight.
"I'm so sorry Saige. I'm sorry" he kept repeating. "I'm so sorry."
"It's okay. I still love you."
He cries harder and hugs her tighter, apologizing over and over again. Confused, Saige just holds him and lets him cry.
