There she was, starring at every object around the classroom desperate for the bell to ring and end her tedium and loneliness, she is not that relaxed after all.
He knew he was looking ridiculous with the indecision he was struggling with, he kept stepping back and forth not knowing if he should walk inside the classroom again.
Without him noticing, when he tried glancing at her again to cultivate more details about her mysterious soul their eyes accidentally met, pushing aside the awkwardness of that second, for the first time Kenneth looked right into her hazel eyes and admitted her appearance was not that bad...
That was not the only time it happened, when Kenneth finally decided to sit down on his seat again, things started to get a little weird. They constantly kept catching each other exchanging looks and each time it happened her expressions seemed to change for the first time today. She was starting to get tired of that repeating scene and frustrated that he kept doing it over and over again despite the awkwardness afterwards. It was sure not romantic like when Gus and Hazel did it.
"Are you going to say something or are we going to keep playing this starring game?"
Her voice, it was nothing like he expected it to be, it was much sweeter and innocent, but he could sense she was not that kind of stereotypical good girl.
