Laughter spills out over the floor
Like bubbly wine -
The careless conversation,
So caught up in the wonder of it all:
That we are young,
And we are strong,
Invincible, it seems, as we stand here. Though -
We trip over our newly found feet.
But we do not view these stumbles as failures -
Instead, we glorify them as shining memories
Of these in-between days
Called "youth",
Where mistakes can be made again and again,
And consequence carries no real weight.
