Jasper looked around herself. Dark. She slowly started recalling what happened before. The ship crash-landed. She fought the fusion. She got... she couldn't admit it... she got defeated. Suddenly, she realized.
I have to report all of them to Yellow Diamond!
Jasper started digging her way out. Finally, she was able to see something more than just black. Her hand rose above and soon after, she was out entirely. She had to stop for a second, and take a few deep breaths. As here eyes were adjusting, she saw green flames and parts of the Homeworld ship all over the place. She finally saw them.
The Crystal Gems.
Jasper, still not being able to believe she was defeated, looked at the fusion with an unpleasant look. She wasn't able to stand, so on her knees she whispered: "Don't think you won. You only beat me, 'cause you're a fusion! If I had someone to fuse with I'd-"
Jasper stopped, looking at the blue gem who summoned her water wings and was ready to escape. An idea started forming in Jasper's head. The orange quartz quickly ran over to catch Lapis Lazuli just in time. "C'mere brat," she said, as she dragged her down and hold her by the arm. "Don't fly off so soon!"
Jasper was holding the short gem by her hand, with their faces being only inches away. "Lapis listen!" she burst out "Fuse with me!"
The dark blue gem looked at Jasper, as if she were crazy. Jasper had a villainous grin on her face. "What?" said Lapis, not being able to understand why Jasper would want to fuse with someone like her.
The quartz solider let go of the hand of the messenger, who has fell to the ground. "How long did they keep you trapped here, on this miserable hunk of rock?" Jasper asked Lapis, attempting to make her fuse. Lapis Lazuli looked up at Jasper, with the only thing that was letting them see being the green fire spread all over the beach. Jasper continued. "These gems," she said, pointing towards Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl and Steven "They're traitors to their Homeworld!"
"They kept you prisoner, they used you!" said Jasper, with her typical rough voice. Lapis got reminded again and again that she once was in the mirror, with the event being something she would like to forget.
A prisoner for thousands of years...
Anger started bubbling up in her. "Now it's our chance to take revenge!" This was the final drop. Lapis was determined to fuse with Jasper, just to take revenge on them. The problem was... she hated Jasper just the same as all of the Crystal gems. But that didn't matter. They'll unfuse afterwards, so it didn't matter.
A scary grin flashed across Jasper's face as she whispered: "C'mon. Just say yes."
Suddenly, Lapis Lazuli had thought of an idea. But she had to wait. She gave her hand to Jasper. The two made a few elegant spins and then formed the fusion.
A tall green fusion began to rise in front of the four rebel gems. The Crystal gems were shaking in fright. The fusion of Jasper and Lapis Lazuli, Malachite, was very tall, had green striped skin and white hair. However, she had six limbs, all of them looking like hands. Both Jasper and Lapis had felt powerful at that moment. Malachite let out an evil laugh as she pulled out a water hand from the ocean, thanks to Lapis' hydrokinesis.
Inside the fusion, Jasper had laughed and so has Lapis, until she caught Malachite in chains made out of water. Jasper's side of Malachite screamed in surprise as the fusion was tagged into water. "What are you doing?!" asked Jasper from inside the fusion. Lapis with dragging Malachite more and into the ocean, yelled: "I'm done being everyone's prisoner. Now you're my prisoner! And I'm never letting you go!" Malachite's head was all that wasn't dragged in the ocean yet. "Let's stay on this miserable planet! Together!" At that moment, Malachite has been fully dragged in the ocean.
The water was calm. But you couldn't say the same for Malachite.
