Hi everyone! Sorry for the wait. Though you probably wouldn't notice on a recording.
[Oh, shut up, Hermione. Hey, no hitting!]
Anyway, I'm narrating for a little while, since Percy and friends just got whisked away to tell their story, so now you get to hear this one with yours truly.
[Yes Katniss. I know that you, Peeta, Hermione, Ron, Sophie, Carter, Zia, Sadie and Walt are still here. Woman. OUCH!]
Okay, so our district number is 11, and we call it Magus. It's a really nice place, and better than Camp Aevum, I'm sure.
[Ow, Sadie! Why is everyone hitting me? Shut up, Ron]
It was a nice day, so I went with my Mum, Dad on their way to visit my uncle and aunt before heading to City Central. Yes, my parents are alive. They only died in the story, sheesh.
'Petunia!' my Mum squealed.
'Lilly!'
They both squeezed each other in a bone crushing hug while my Dad shook Uncle Vernon's hand. Dudley waddled out from behind them.
'How you going, Big D?'
He grinned, 'Oh, shut up, Harry.'
I laughed, 'Listen, Ginny, Ron and I are going to City Central to meet up with some guys from Camp Aevum. Wanna come?'
'Sure.'
'Let's go then.'
I looked from my Mum talking rapid fire with her sister and my Dad discussing something probably very boring with Uncle Vernon.
'They're not gonna miss us,' Dudley said.
I shook my head, 'Definitely not.'
'We're leaving!' Dudley called over his shoulder as we started down the path.
No response. Go figure.
We headed down to the train station that we call Kings Cross. Why? We have no idea. We're book characters, cut us some slack. I suppose it looks exactly like the real Kings Cross, except we have a better garbage man. The place is hardly ever dirty. Unlike humans, us fictional people actually care about our environment.
[Shut up, Hermione. Yes, I know there are environmentalists]
We bored our train and found an empty compartment at the rear. Dudley pulled some chocolate out of his pocket that he'd snuck past his mum and handed one to me. No, he didn't keep it to himself. I don't know why people thinks he's horrible. Books can be so wrong. He's actually really nice.
Then the door slid open. A boy and girl came in and smiled at us sheepishly.
'Uh, can we sit here,' the girl asked. 'We can't find another compartment.'
Dudley grinned, 'Sinder! Of course you can sit here.'
They both smiled. The boy took a set beside me, and the girl sat across from him, next to Dudley. The girl looked sort of Goth with black hair and nail polish. However she wore a green "save the planet" t-shirt. The boy had a surfer look to him, with shaggy hair and deep blue eyes.
Dudley handed them two spare chocolate bars as the train pulled away from the station.
'Hi. I'm Harry Potter,' I said awkwardly, offering my hand. The boy took it.
