Jackson's big brown eyes look right into mine. "What a great name!" I say. He says, "Thank you," and flips his brown, floppy hair. "Whats your name?"
"Charlotte."
"That's so pretty." His white smile is so gorgeous. I couldn't help but wonder what's under that tuxedo.
"Thank you." I smiled back. I got up from my seat at the bar, and looked over at Nate; talking to some guy I've never seen before. I walk over to Nate and say, "Hey," and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
"This is my girlfriend, Charlotte."
"What a pretty name," said the man in all black.
"Thanks." I replied. I pulled Nate over towards me. "So, how come you haven't been talking to me all night."
"I have!"
"Not really Hun." I crossed my arms.
"It doesn't mean anything. I just know a lot of people. Plus, my dad makes me talk to everyone."
"Well, I'm everyone." I run away; towards the bar.
"Charlotte!" He screams. Nate runs after me and grabs my arms, turns me around, and gives me a big hug.
"I'm so sorry babe. I really, really like you and I'm sorry." He squeezes me tight. His warm hug makes up for not talking to me, but I'm a tough girl, and definitely not stupid.
"Prove it."
"How?"
"Don't ask me." I fold my arms and grin. Since Nate was my ex-boyfriend, I know his ways.

I was sitting in his car with my arms crossed. 'Man, I wished he talked to me at the wedding. I looked gorgeous, how could he?' I thought.
"So prove it huh?"
"Yep, pretty much." I answered.
"Okay. What time do you need to be home by?" He asked.
"Midnight."
"Good thing it's only eleven o'clock."
"Why?"
"I'm proving my love for you."
"You love me?" I questioned.
"I think I do."
"I think I do too." I looked at him up and down to see his hot body.

"He we are." He parked the car on some grass. It was dark out. The only thing I could see was the dark blue sky.
"What's all this?"
"It happens to be my safe spot." He covered the grass with a red, plad blanket.
"Your safe spot?" I asked.
"It's where I go when I need to think about things."
"Oh." We sat down on the soft blanket. Then Nate lay down and I lay down right after. We looked up at the dark sky, and the little, bright stars. Nate grabbed my hand.
"I do love you."
"I love you too, for sure."

Nate then grabbed my body closer to his and we kissed. It was amazing.
