While I was watching my favorite TV show, I called Christina. "Hey!"
"Hey girl what's up?"
"Nm. I just wanted to let you know that Nate and I are finally an official couple!"
"Oh my God! I'm so happy for you two!"
"Thanks Tina." I blushed.
"I just wish I have a boyfriend by the time we graduate."
"You will Tee." I felt pretty bad for her because she always watches Margret, Jade, and I get boyfriends here and there, but she never gets one.
"No I won't Charlotte." She answered.
"Yes you will. Think positive," I said.
"Fine, only for you."
I smiled, "Good."I said goodbye to Christina and I hung up the phone. I walked over to grab my purse. I slipped on my moccasins and shut the front door behind me.
♡♡♡
A few minutes later, I stopped the car.
I then rang Nate's doorbell.
"Oh Charlotte!" He smiled.
"Hi Nate." I hugged him and gave him a kiss on the lips.
"What are you doing here babe?"
"Well, for proving your love to me, I have a little something special for you."
"What is it?" He rapped his big hands around my waist.
"We are going on a double date."
"With who?"
"Christina."
"Christina?" He questioned. His face looked like Joey from FRIENDS when somebody takes his food.
"Yeah Christina."
"Oh! Christina!" He pretended like he wasn't completely shocked. But I knew. Nate and I both knew Christina since we were in Elementary School, and we both know that she doesn't likes boys.
I mean, she not lesbian. She just doesn't really like dating.
"Yep," I said. "I'm setting her up with a guy that I know she'll like."
"Who?" Nate asks while standing outside his front door with his arms around me.
"Jackson!"
"Jackson? From the wedding?"
"Yes! Jackson from the wedding!"
"I don't know about that." Nate says.
"Why not? He'd be perfect for her! They both love drinking and partying!"
"Well you just assumed that because he was at a wedding, and Christina came to my party a few months ago."
"I'm not assuming, I know, for sure."
I was so excited. I planned the whole day. As I walked inside Nate's mansion with him, I thought about all the things Tina loves, which is not a lot of things.
We sat on his couch and cuddled together while talking about Tee.
"She likes flowers." Nate said.
"Wait no she doesn't."
"What do you mean she doesn't?" Nate giggled.
I looked up at him from his chest. "She once told me that she hates flowers because it reminds her of her friend Adrianna's funeral freshman year of high school."
"Oh. Well that's a shame."
"Yep." It was silent for a few minutes while we were thinking of things Tina likes.
"Oh!"
"What?!" I asked as I got up from the couch.
"She likes chocolate!"
"That's true!" I yelled.
"We found something she likes!" We laughed as Nate pulled me closer. We kissed for about five minutes and then I realized that I have to get ready to go meet Jackson for lunch.Once I got back into my minivan, I called Jackson from my car.
"Hey Jackson!"
"Hey Charlotte." He answered in his deep, raspy voice.
"I'm on my way to pick you up in five."
"Okay! See you then."He said in his country accent. I've always wondered why he has a country accent when he lives New York. But that's not what I should be focusing on. I'm just so excited to finally let Christina have her time.
