SPOILER ALERT FOR "NOT RAPE"
This might be very overdue considering the book is old. I don't really like the story or even talking about it. It's so pathetic and cringe to me. Lol. Basically, I use to watch (and still do) Law & Order:SVU and use to get so upset when it seemed that they use to always lose their cases. Over time and looking at real life stuff made me realize how normal it was to lose the cases.
So, when I wrote that book I already had in mind that the accused was going to get off. It's the reality and especially for a case of a male being raped? Definitely going to get off. Most rape victims do no get their justice at all. Sad but true thing. I wanted the book to be as realistic as possible and with that came the realistic way of realizing that in this world rape victims mostly never receive justice.
