Jamie's POV
I woke up in the morning to feel Alex's hands running along my sides. I turned in his arms, so I was facing him. He gave me a soft smile and leaned down, kissing me.
It's been about two weeks since we needed to get his medicine changed and he's been doing pretty good. The first week was kinda've hell because of his mood swings with being on a new pill.
"Good morning, darling." I whispered, leaning up and giving him a quick kiss.
"Good morning."
I heard my phone vibrate on my nightstand. I groaned before I grabbed it up. It was a message from Gavin.
Wanna have a double date today, nerd???
I chuckled and looked up at Alex. Would he want to hang out with my friends? Would he think their annoying or not good for his reputation?
"Jamie, I would love to hang out with your friends." Alex whispered and I realized that he was in my head to see what I was thinking and I was actually grateful for it.
"Really?"
"Of course. They're who you associate your life with. I want to hang out with them."
I smiled. "Thank you, baby."
sure, come pick us up at mi casa bitch
"You can be so weird." Alex whispered as he was looking at my phone.
"Thanks." I said, chuckling.
We got up and changed into clothes. Alex brought clothes with him, so that he didn't have to walk home because he knew I wanted to actually get out of the house today.
I was wearing an ivory Hardy Amies shawl cardigan with a white undershirt, black skinny jeans, and Lacoste shoes. Alex was wearing a light blue t-shirt, dark blue skinny jeans, and white Converse.
I checked my phone and looked up at Alex. "They're here, my darling."
He smiled and grabbed my hand as we walked out of my house. We climbed into Gavin's car and I leaned over, kissing his cheek. Alex glared at me and I chuckled.
"That's how we greet each other, sweetie. Deal with it."
"Sorry, Alex." Gavin said as he pulled out of my driveway.
"Hey, Benji. How are you?" I asked him.
He smiled at me and blushed a little bit. "I'm good, how are you?"
"I'm great. Do you know where we're going?" I asked, trying to include him because I felt bad for one of my best friends. He doesn't normally put in his opinion unless he's asked too.
"We're trying out a new restaurant that my mom took me to last week. It's really good. Is that okay with you?" He asked me.
I smiled. "It sounds great, babe."
He smiled and Gav took the hand that he was holding of Benji's and kissed it. He seemed to visibly relax and Alex gave me a confused look. I've never really talked to him and Benji.
He's very shy and his self-esteem is low. I mind linked to him.
Why's that? He asked me.
His dad was really mean to him as a little kid. He forced him to stay inside all the time and never have friends. I was one of his first friends, so Gav and I are used to including him in everything, so he doesn't feel like we're leaving him.
He sighed and nodded. That's terrible.
I know, but that's just how he was taught. His mom left his dad when Benji was about 12 because he saw how messed up he had gotten.
