The ceiling fan seems to be my only interest right now. I'm standing still but I feel dizzy. I've never been this drunk before. If my dad wasn't such a dick, maybe I could smoke a cigarette or something. Anything to get Orca off my mind.

Niras Pov:
The nurse lady came back in, telling me my parents were on their way. The only person I wanted was Nick. Nobody else mattered. When they got here and seen me, my mom covered her face and dropped everything.
"Oh my baby." She was tearing up. Which made me even more irritated.
"You don't need to cry. I'm fine. I'll be up and moving and home in a few days." I crossed my arms and looked at my dad who had no expression on his face.
"Were you at the restaurant? Baby, you can tell me. Did Nick hurt you?"
"No. Mom-"
"You're not going to see him any longer." My dad said in a stern tone. I rolled my eyes.
"You don't have any idea dad. I know what I'm doing."
"Well, If seeing him is on your list, take it off. You were under his supervision and you got hurt. This is entirely his fault." That might be true. But yet again, he had no idea.
"Stop bickering." Mom said. My dad looked at her and shook his head. He sat down where Nick did.
"What do you remember?" My mom said holding onto my hand.
"I don't remember anything." I lied.
"You have to remember something!" My dad said. My mom glared at him and he looked away.
"Nothing?" My mom asked.
"I remember being with Nick and something happened. I can't talk to you about it now, but I promise mom, when I find Nick and get him out of his state of guilt, we will both explain everything to you. I promise." I squeezed her hand. My dad turned his attention to me again.
"I already said it. You are not seeing that boy any longer."
"Stop! You keep assuming that this is his fault-"
"Because it is! If you say one more word about it Nira, one more and I will keep you at the house until you are in your 30s." I looked at him. Closed my eyes and started counting to ten. My mom stood up and dragged my dad out. I know she was talking to him about me growing up, can't hold onto me forever. Which is true. He can't. I forgot about it all, and focused on getting out of here. When they came back in, my dad looked even more pissed than when he left.
"What do you need to talk to us about?" My mom asked. Sitting by me again.
"I-I can't say anything. But, if you trust me mom, I PROMISE you. When I get out of here. We will all sit down and talk about it." My dad sat mumbling to himself.
"Who? Who is going to sit and talk?" My mom asked.
"Us and Nick and his father." My mom looked at me for a minute.
"I-I don't know if I want to do that. I want you to tell me now. You know what happened but you can't tell me?" My mom asked verifying.
"No. But I promise Nick and his father can. It's a lot to take in." My dad stood up and headed for the door.
"Where are you going?"
"To get a pop. And the nurse." Before my mom could stop him, he left.
"Why is he seeing the nurse?" I asked.
"I dont know. Maybe he has some questions." I had a feeling he was going to take Nick off the visitor list. I don't think he was coming back anyway.
