Chapter 7: The Surprise

Nicole's P.O.V
I looked down my balcony and smiled.
He was standing there while holding something.
This is his surprise?.
He waved and I waved for him to come in.
He then started walking forwards and started climbing up to where I am.
He finally reached the balcony to where I am.
"For you"He says and hands me roses.
"Roses?"I say confused.
"Yeah. I thought they were perfect for you"He replies in his hot cuban accent.
"Thank you. So why are you doing this?"I ask.
"Listen mami, there's something I've been wanting to tell you"He says and makes eye contact.
"Que?"I ask getting nervous.
Please don't say it i thought.
"I know this may sound crazy and stupid but I love you. You're different from other girls I've met and that's what I like about you. I know we just met in Monday but you already drive me crazy. Esta bien si no dices nada pero yo te amo"He says and held my hand.
Panic!!!. What do I do!?!.
Nicole think!! I thought.
"Umm Erick I honestly don't know what to say. I mean I just met you on Monday so this is fast for me. I-"I was interrupted.
"Mami I know we met on Monday but I'm just telling you my feelings for you. I'll give you space to think about it. I'm not pressuring you. If you want to stay the same then that's fine but I will always love you."He says.
Thank God it was dark out or else he would of seen me blushing.
"Bueno voy a pensar. But if you want me to love you back you have to do something for me."I replied.
"Anything"He says.
"Stop being the person that everybody knows."I said.
"What do you mean"He says confused.
"You being a player. You're always flirting with girls and I don't like that. If you want me to love you then you're going to stop. If I ever date you, I don't want you to treat me like the others. Where you date them and leave them heartbroken while you find another girl. If that's the case then I'm not into you. I'm probably not even the first girl you gave roses to"I said.
There was a moment of silence before he spoke.
"I'll change for you then. But when I date you, I'm not going to use you nor hurt you. I have to go though. Te veo mami"He says.
"Te veo"I said and he leans in and kisses my cheek.

Then he climbed down the balcony and started leaving.
Well that was interesting.
I got inside my room.
I went to kitchen and grabbed a vase and filled it with water.
I took it to my room and placed the roses inside.
I head to bed and his words kept repeating through my mind.
****Thursday****
I woke up for hell, I mean school.
I got up and walked towards the bathroom.
I was going to take a shower.
As I was taking a shower I heard my mom going into my bedroom.
"Nicole where are you?"She says.
"I'm taking a shower!"I yell.
"Ok. Where did you get these beautiful roses?"She says.
I forgot about them.
"Mom I'll tell you later just let me shower"I said.

I got out the shower and walked in my room and started changing.

I brushed my hair down and heads down to the kitchen.
"So where did you get those roses?"My mom asked.
"My friend at school gave it to me because she works at a gardening place"I lied.
"Oh ok."She says.

"Bye"I said as they drove away.
I started walking in to school.
I was trying to find Yoandri to tell him about last night.
I found him talking to Johann.
"Yoandri can I talk to you in private"I said.
"Sure. I'll see you Johann"He says and Johann leaves.
"Come with me"Yoandri said and lead me to the janitor's closet.
"What is it"He said.
"So last night, Erick came to my house and he gave me roses and told me how much he loved me and how he would change for me"I
Said.
"Are you serious"He said.
I nod.
"I mean if he does change then I guess he really loves you but you still have to be careful because last time he did this to another girl except he took her to the beach and confessed but if I were you I would be careful. Good luck"He says.
We left the closet and started walking towards our locker.

I was trying to focus in science but our teacher said we had sit next to our partner for discussion.
"You're coming over"He says.
"Sure"I replied.
"So have you thought about it"He said as i stare at his beautiful emerald green eyes.
"Not really. I want to think about it when you prove to me that you can change"I said.
"Already have mami"He says and smirks.
"I didn't see. I have to see that you've changed"I said.
"Alright. Then afterwards I can love you my way and I'll ask my mom for protection"He says.
"Erick!."I said and punched his shoulder.
He just laughs.
"Even if you do change I can always say no"I said.
His laugh faded.
"Que pasa mami"I mock him from last time.
"Erick!"He mocks me.
We were mocking each other until our teacher was close to us.

School ended and Erick was following me to my parents car.
"Hola princessa"My dad says.
"Hola. Drive to his house we need to finish the project."I said.
"Ok then."My dad says and starts driving.
"Erick how have you been"My mom says.
Here we go again I thought.
"Bien y usted?"He said.
"Yo tambien estoy bien. Erick were you the one that gave Nicole the roses because I feel like she's lying"My mom said.
I give Erick a death glare and he smirks.
"Yes that was me"Erick said while i facepalm myself.
"Nicole you could of told us. You two are such a cute couple"My mom says.
"We're not dating"I said.
"But we will"Erick said while i strangle him.
"Aww you see Nicole. Nicole get your hands of him"My mom said.
"Fine"I said and let go.

"Gracias te veo Suegros"Erick says as they drive away.
I just give him a glare.
He starts laughing.
"Let's just get this project over with."I said as we enter inside his house.
"Ma traje Nicole!"Erick yells.
I then see her mom walking towards me.
"Hola"I said.
"Hola otraves."She says and we hug.
"Mom we have to finish this today."Erick says and she nods.
We walk up to his room and got started.

"Ok we're finally done."I say getting up.
He gets up to.
"Yeah. You looked beautiful today"He says.
"Thanks.."I said.
I looked down and he comes closer to lift my head up so that I was looking at him.
Once again I got lost in his beautiful green eyes.
Without me noticing he was slowly pushing me up against his bed.
I stopped staring at him and realized I was laying on his bed and he was on top of me.
"E-Erick I have to get going"I said trying to get off.
"No you don't"He says making me look at him .
He starts leaning in until our lips were inches away.
Thoughts were going into my mind until he smashed his lips into mine.
