Hoseok smiled and waved as he walked out of his front door. "Bye mom!"His walk to school seemed agonizingly slow. He was feeling quite anxious. Today is the day he decided to suck it up and confess to his crush, Jimin.
Jimin and Hoseok and had been friends for a little over five years now. He felt as if there had always been some sort of connection between the two, but never had the guts to see if Jimin felt the same. But today, today was different. Hoseok had been giving himself pep talks for the past week, and it seems to be paying off.

"Jimin," Hoseok said, placing his hand on Jimin's shoulder. "May I talk to you for a moment?"
Standing up from his chair, he smiled and nodded.
"Great." Hoseok smiled and grabbed Jimin's wrist, leading him out of the classroom.
Jimin looked up at Hoseok and raised an eyebrow when he realized they were headed to the boys bathroom. "What is it, hyung?"
Hoseok placed a finger on his lips, signaling for him to be quiet. "If I ask you something, and your answer is no, do you promise not to hate me?" Jimin nodded.
Hoseok took a deep breath and dragged Jimin into a stall. "Well, you know we've been friends for a long time now...and we always seem to have such a good time when we're around each other..."
Jimin tilted his head and looked at Hoseok, "Yeah...and? What are you trying to say?"
Hoseok sighed. "I'm trying to say I like you...A lot..."
Jimin looked up at him and gave him a toothy smile. "I like you too, hyung! We're best friends! But did you really have to drag me into a bathroom to say that?"
"No, Jimin, I mean I like you in a special way. Meaning I want to be with you."
Jimin's mouth fell agape for a moment, contemplating on how he should respond. Did he even like Hoseok? They've been great friends for years, and with both of their bubbly personalities, there was rarely a dull moment, but he wasn't sure if he felt the same. He only saw Hoseok as a close friend, at least that's what he thought. There'd be the occasional moment when their hands would brush together and his heart would beat a little faster, or when Hoseok would look at him with his oh so precious smile and he couldn't help but grin back.
Hoseok sighed, "I'm sorry, Jimin. I shouldn't have put you under such pressure. Please forget I said anything," He turned, opened the stall door and left.
"Wait!" Jimin reached out and grabbed his wrist. "I like you too. In a special way," he said, giving Hoseok another toothy grin.
Hoseok smiled. "Really?"
Jimin nodded. "Really. I wasn't sure at first. I thought I only saw you as a close friend, but then I thought about all the moments when you would touch my hand and my heart would beat a little faster or when you comforted me at my worst times. I never really realized my feelings for you until today...I guess I just didn't want to admit it."
"Oh... Well I'm glad you came to your senses. Now let's get out of here, it kind of stinks." Hoseok said, laughing, leading Jimin out of the stall and back to class.
