Hoseok sighed when he heard yelling as he walked through the front door. His parents were arguing once again. Arguing in his family hasn't become an uncommon thing within the last year or two. Ever since his dad lost his job, they've been struggling to get by and its the main cause of most of their arguments.Hoseok peeked into the kitchen to see what they were arguing about this time.
"You lazy son of a bitch! Get off your ass and get a job!" His mom yelled, holding a glass bottle.
"Please calm down. I'm working the best I can," His father said, then looking over to Hoseok with pleading eyes.
Hoseok cautiously walked behind his mother, attempting to remove the bottle from her hand before she could hurt anyone. He grabbed her wrist, which in turn, startled her, causing her to slam the bottle onto Hoseok's head.
Hoseok's eyes widened as he stumbled backwards. After processing what just happened, he brought his hand up to his cheek and ran his finger along a cut.
"Oh my-" His mother started.
"I-I've got to go," Hoseok quickly ran out of the kitchen and up to his room. Slamming his door shut, he grabbed a bag and stuffed as many clothes as he could fit in it. Opening his window, he climbed out onto the ledge and jumped down.

Hoseok had ran to Jimin's house to stay the night. He didn't want to be at home for a while.
Jimin opened the door and looked Hoseok up and down before cupping his cheeks and looking him in the eyes.
"What happened to you?"
Hoseok's eyes burned with unshed tears, which were threatening to fall, "I- I don't want to talk about it right now... Could I just stay here for a while?"
Jimin nodded and pulled Hoseok inside, quickly pulling him into a hug. "Are you okay at least?"
Hoseok shook his head and rested his head on Jimin's shoulder.
"Do you want to lay down then?" Jimin asked, rubbing Hoseok's back.
Hoseok nodded.
"Okay, let's go," Jimin gently grabbed Hoseok's hand and lead him upstairs.
Once in his room, Jimin scratched the back of his head and looked at Hoseok, "So, uhm...Would you like to lay by yourself, or do you want me to lay with you?"
Hoseok grabbed Jimin's wrist then sat down on his bed, leaning back, pulling Jimin down with him.
Jimin smiled and wrapped his arms around Hoseok's waist, "Okay then. Are you sure you dont want to tell me what happened?" Jimin asked, combing his fingers through Hoseok's hair.
Hoseok turned and looked at Jimin, "I really don't feel like talking right now. Maybe I'll be ready to talk about it tomorrow," he said, smiling and resting his head on Jimin's chest.
"That's fine. Just don't rush yourself. You don't have to say anything until you're ready,"
Hoseok nodded and closed his eyes. The steady rhythm of Jimin's heartbeat soon eased him to sleep.

Jimin placed a kiss on Hoseok's forehead and gently shook him, "Hey, we have to go to school. C'mon, you gotta get ready,"
Hoseok groaned and blinked a few times before adjusting to the morning light. Jimin was standing over him, smiling warmly.
"I want to stay here today. With you," Hoseok frowned.
"We promised Yoongi we'd critique his song today. You wouldn't want to disappoint him, would you?"
Sighing, Hoseok sat up and rubbed his eyes, "I guess you're right,"

"Good morning, my sweet Hoseok," Taehyung said, leaning against Hoseok's locker.
Hoseok sighed and looked at him, "Don't call me that,"
"But it suits you so well. Why wouldn't you want to be called that?" Taehyung tilted his head.
"Because, I just don't like it,"
"Would you prefer Baby Boy?"
Hoseok stared at him for a moment, "...I prefer Sweet Hoseok if those are the only two options you're giving me, but just know I'm not interested. I already have my eyes on someone else,"
"It's Jimin, isn't it?"
Hoseok stayed silent as he put in the combination to his locker, avoiding Taehyung's gaze.
"Ah, I knew you two had something going on. Don't worry, I won't tell anyone,"
Hoseok turned and looked at Taehyung and raised an eyebrow, "Really?"
"Sure, on one condition," He smirked, waiting for Hoseok's response.
"What?"
"You, my Sweet Hoseok, have to be my best friend," Taehyung smiled.
Hoseok raised an eyebrow, "Really? That's all?"
Taehyung nodded, "Yup. I mean, unless you want me to add more conditions?" He leaned in closer to Hoseok's face, "Because I can do that,"
Hoseok shook his head and took a step back, "No, that's not it. I'm just surprised you asked for something so simple. I'm okay with being your friend though," he said smiling.
"Great, then I'll see you this afternoon at the studio," Taehyung said, smiling and walked off to his morning classes.
