chapter 6

skylar's pov

I walk through the doors of the salon, it's Friday and tomorrow is the bbq I'm so nervous for it a lot of he's family will be there.

The day goes pretty quick a lady comes in wanting her makeup done for wedding and I done her friends nails.

"bye, see you later" I tell Stacey, "yeah,I'll phone you later we need a good catch up" she says while doing this lady's hair.

I walk out the salon and drive to this restaurant where I'm meeting Charlotte, "hey bestie" she smiles standing up giving me a hug, we sit down in the both and we get our orders, "so I want to know everything" she says, " well... " I smile thinking back "we went to the beach the other week it was fun Darcy is the cutest thing ever" i smile back at the memory, "and he has invited me this weekend to he's mums house for a bbq" I tell her "you nervous about it?", "very, i will see his family and do you know how nervous that is for me" i say and the waiter comes with our food "thanks" I tell him and he smiles walking off, "you seem so happy when you talk about him" she smiles at me, " i am, he is a great guy" I tell her honestly.

We chat for much longer and after lunch I do some shopping and by the time I get home it's 5pm, i put all my stuff away and walk upstairs changing my outfit to some jogging wear, i used to go jogging everyday and go to the gym at least 4 times a week, but I kind of stopped so now I need to get back in that routine.

I put on my black Nike sports bra and my beige leggings and my sketchers trainers, I go down stairs to the back garden and grab Bailey's lead so he can come, he loves going for walk, I grab my head phones and my phone.

We jogg for about 15 minutes until we get to the lake, he loves playing in the Lake, i let go of him so he can run around and play, i sit on the bench and watch, I'm quite a sporty girl I like jogging, horse riding, going to the gym, exercising,dancing, swimming,i like that stuff.

After about 20 minutes of him playing in the water, me throwing sticks so he catches them, and getting all muddy we jogg back.

When I get to my place I see a black range rover outside, and harry and Darcy outside, "hey" i say walking up to the front door holding Bailey back "hi, i brought your clothes" he says holding a bag, i open the front door and Bailey goes straight in and Darcy squealing behind, we walk in and I close the door behind us, "oh thanks, I've also got yours upstairs" I blush, " oh don't worry keep it" he winks, i take my trainers off and walk to the kitchen with harry following behind holding Darcy.

"do you want a cup of tea?" i ask him putting the kettle on "please" he says, i get two cups out, "do you want some apple juice?" I smile at Darcy and she nods her head, " i don't have baby bottles or anything " I tell harry while looking in the cupboard.

After making his cup of tea and poring a drink out for Darcy in a glass we sit down in the lounge, Darcy sitting on he's lap sipping on the Apple juice that harry is holding so she doesn't drop it.

"so how was your day?" he asks me "it was good, had work in the morning, went for lunch with my best friend and came back and went for a run" I tell, "yeah i can see", he says looking down at my outfit smirking, "stop" i laugh blushing, "i like it when you blush" he smiles at me, and i hide my face laughing.

"dada" Darcy says standing up on he's lap, "she will be going to daycare soon" he says, "really?", " well I need to go Monday and talk to the lady but she will be starting soon " he smiles at he's daughter, "can you come with me on Monday?" he asks me nervously "yeah of course I will, you don't need to ask" i tell him "thanks" he smiles at me, " she is really clingy so her first day will be hard" he smiles and Darcy that is climbing on him and playing with he's hair, and then she crawls over on to my lap giggling.

"she is definitely the cutest toddler ever" i smile at harry and he smiles back "I know but she is growing to, fast!, I can't believe she will be two soon" he tells me, looking down at Darcy "dog" she says smiling getting of my lap and squealing in excitement at Bailey, "i never knew she was a dog lover" harry chuckles next to me, "well now you do" i smile at him, we watch how Darcy plays with Bailey giving him he's toys so he can play.

"so what time is the barbecue tomorrow?" I ask harry,"at lunch time but it's a three hour drive" he tells me "so I'll pick you up at nine if you don't mind" he asks, "yeah sure no problem" i smile at him "and we will probably sleep there the night,but I can bring you home if you want" he tells me "no no its fine" i reassure him, "right you monster it's time to go" he says to Darcy picking her up, "no dadda" she says wiggling wanting to get down, "it's time to go baby, come on" he tells her, but she reaches out for me crying " hey what's all this about? " I say poking her stomach and she laughs, "I'll see you tomorrow" harry tells me giving me a kiss on the cheek, "see you tomorrow" i smile at him.
