I stood in front of the body mirror smiling at myself. My bright red skinny jeans stuck to my legs making all my curves stand out, My lose grey jumper hung off my right shoulder and ended at the middle of my thigh, my black converse were tied tightly to my feet so they wouldn't fall off, and one of my grey beanies was sitting on the top of my head. My long blonde hair was straitened and reached the middle of my butt. I only had some make up on but it was just the basics, mascara, eyeliner, and some lipstick.
The air around me smelled like flowers and gumb drops because of my new perfume I bought. I grabbed my IPhone from Andy's dresser where it was charging and shoveditinti my front pocket. I grabbed a pack of excel gum and popped a piece of it in my mouth. The minty flavor burst onto my taste buds instantly making my mouth taste good. I took one last glance in the mirror before turning around and walking out of Andy's room.
I smiled at all the photos of Andy and his friends that were in picture frames along the hallway's walls. I stopped and looked at one photo that held a memory I would never forget. Andy, Matt, Ryan, Kyle, and me were sitting on our BMX bikes smiling at the camera, But the funny part about this pictures is that we're all dressed up in rain deer onesies with a set of antlers on our head. I laughed at the memory of that before I continued my journey down stairs.
I hopped down the stairs and into the kitchen where Andy and Matt were sitting at the kitchen counter having a really intense conversation about spongebob.
"no! It's the episode where plaintun steals the secret formula" Matt said, making weird hand signals.
"we all know he song the krusty crab pizza song in the movie when he and Patrick were trying to save Mr. Crabs" Andy argued.
"guys!" I screamed getting the attention. "siriously? He sung the song in the pizza delivery episode"
The boys looked at me for a while before they went back to arguing. I huffed and walked over to the cabinets. I opened them up and started going through it. Once I found something to cook for lunch I grabbed it in my hand and stood up. I closed the cabinets and turned around.
"who wants Kraft-dinner?" I asked, holding up too boxes.
The boys heads snapped towards me. I laughed as the agreed and pulled out there phones, totally forgetting about there argument. I grabbed a pot and filled it half way with hot water. I put the stove to the right temperature and put the pot on. Not to long after that the water started to bubble. I walked over to the radio and turned it on. I turned the volume nob and the song 'everything has changed by Taylor Swift ft. Ed Sheehan' blasted through the speakers.
I began to sing along softly. "All I knew this morning when I woke, Is I know something now, know something now I didn't before. And all I've seen since eighteen hours ago, Is green eyes and freckles in your smile In the back of my mind making me feel right"
I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist as I was pouring the noddles into the pot. "you have a great singing voice"
"you think?" I asked, grabbing the spoon from the counter and placing it in the pot as I began to stir.
"I know so" he whispered before he snuck a peck on the cheek.
I giggled and leaned against him. "I'm trying to cook, stop it"
He obeyed orders and changed the subject. "we're meeting up with Ryan and Kyle at the skatepark today"
I smiled even bigger. "now you, Matt and Kyle can teach me more tricks on BMX"
He nodded his head. "I was thinking of teaching you a backflip off of the wall and a 360"
"oh my god, yes!" I scream with excitement and turn to hug him. BUT my elbow knocked up against the pot which made it fall of the stove and onto my leg. I screamed in pain as the scorching hot liquid poured onto the back of my leg.
